Westfield to offer London’s largest ‘Kids Eat Free’ dining promotion this February half-term

Nearly 30 restaurants at Westfield London and Stratford City have committed to offering a free kids’ meal, creating one of the biggest half-term promotions in London to support families

Today, Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City, announces the return of a ‘Kids Eat Free’ meal offer at 29 of its casual dining restaurants across the February half-term period.

Running from Saturday 11th to Sunday 19th February 2023, the offer aims to support families from local communities in East and West London, as well as wider London, who want to keep the cost of dining out as a family down whilst still being able to create memorable experiences for their kids during the week-long school break.

Participating restaurants across both London centres who have committed to offering free and nutritious meal options to children aged 12 years and under when accompanied by one paying adult, include Franco Manca, Busaba, YO! Sushi, Las Iguanas, Cabana, Bill’s, The Real Greek and Big Easy (plus more).

Katie Wyle, general manager at Westfield London, says: “We are proud to be bringing back the ‘Kids Eat Free’ offer this February half-term at both of our London centres following its success in October. We recognise how hard it can be for parents and caregivers to keep children entertained during the school holidays without the added pressure of costs such as eating out. We’re delighted that so many of our newest and most popular family-friendly restaurants and eateries have once again committed to helping families with the cost of living this half term.”

Caroline Whatley, director of partnerships at Save the Children UK, added: “We are delighted to see our partner Westfield bringing back this popular dining offer. Latest figures show that 35% of London children aged 0 to 15 were in poverty in 2020-2021, which is higher than the national average. With fears continuing to mount that the capital’s child poverty rate will rise again because of the cost-of-living crisis, promotions like this that can save families money and treat children to a meal out of the house are very much welcomed.”
