A dream come true – Barebells launches Cookies and Cream Milkshake with no added sugar & lactose free

BarebellsBased on one of its most iconic protein bar flavours, Barebells now launches a Cookies and Cream Milkshake with 24 grams of protein and no added sugar.

“This really is a dream come true. This milkshake truly hits the spot when it comes to both new and nostalgic cravings,” says Joe Enright, marketing activation manager for Barebells.

The Barebells Milkshake range, which includes popular flavours such as Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry, expands with a highly requested flavour: Cookies and Cream. With an unmatched flavour of sweet, milky cream, with tones of butter and vanilla, and a hint of chocolate chips.

“Ever since we launched our Cookies and Cream protein bar, we’ve wanted to create this milkshake: as a throwback to the times when we were having freshly baked cookies with a glass of milk as kids. Now it’s finally time”, says Enright.

“The result is a familiar and decadent flavour, perfect as a snack on the go, or as a treat at any time of the day. This is a shake for any occasion”, he continues.

The Barebells Cookies and Cream Original Bar has been around since the brand first launched in 2016. It is a bestseller in both Europe and the U.S. The new milkshake follows the bar’s flavour profile but offers a whole other, drinkable, experience with its perfectly creamy and smooth texture.

“The question is: what texture are you?” Enright asks.

The Barebells Cookies and Cream Milkshake launched in the UK on the 26th of May, 2025. It will roll out in stores nationwide in the upcoming weeks and can already be purchased online through barebells.co.uk.
