Disruptive British dairy brand All Things Dairy is entering the cottage cheese category, unveiling All Things Cottage Cheese, a three-SKU range rolling out across Ocado, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose from 1st January. The launch arrives at a pivotal moment for the category, which is experiencing a dramatic resurgence as consumers embrace high-protein, low-UPF foods and rediscover the appeal of minimally processed dairy.
Once considered a nostalgic staple, cottage cheese has become one of the fastest-growing products in the fridge aisle, with the category climbing more than 51% year on year.
The momentum online is even more pronounced: over 95,000 TikTok posts under the #cottagecheese hashtag and more than 200,000 searches for “cottage cheese recipes” during peaks in January 2025, evidence of rising interest among younger, wellness-focused shoppers.
As interest builds, the category is ripe for innovation but remains dominated by unchanged, legacy brands. Stepping into this space, All Things Cottage Cheese introduces a modern, flavour-led range that brings freshness, versatility and genuine innovation to the category.
At the heart of the launch is the Natural SKU, crafted from just four simple ingredients using grass-fed British milk and live cultures to deliver a clean, minimally processed base. Designed for versatility, it taps into the growing demand for wholesome, everyday staples that work across breakfast, savoury dishes and high-protein snacks.
Building on that foundation, the range also includes category-first flavour innovations including Mango and Mixed Berries, developed with low-sugar preserve specialists Fearne & Rosie to introduce two bright, fruit-led flavour profiles to the category.
The Natural SKU will be available in 450g and 240g formats (450g RRP £2.95; 240g RRP £1.85), with the Mango and Mixed Berries variants launching in 240g pots (RRP £2.05).
The launch reflects All Things Dairy’s continued focus on modernising everyday dairy, combining quality British ingredients with flavour-led innovation and design that resonates with the way consumers cook and eat today.
Toby Hopkinson, co-founder of All Things Dairy, said:“Cottage cheese is having a real moment, not just because it’s high in protein, but because people are rediscovering how versatile and genuinely delicious it can be. We’re seeing it used in everything from breakfast bowls and fruit-topped snacks to savoury spreads, dips and even high-protein baking, much of it driven by social media creators who have brought cottage cheese back into mainstream food culture.
“Despite this surge in interest, the products on shelf haven’t really moved with the times. With All Things Cottage Cheese, we wanted to create something that feels modern and inspiring: clean ingredients, bright flavours and a design that reflects how people cook and eat today. Our aim is to make cottage cheese exciting again for a new generation of dairy shoppers.”
The All Things Cottage Cheese range will be rolling out across major retailers from January 2026. RRPs begin at £1.85.
