GAIL’sCBRE Investment Management (CBRE IM) are pleased to be welcoming artisanal bakery concept and café, GAIL’s, to the Ashley Centre, Epsom’s premier shopping destination. Located on East Square, the 5,958 sq ft space is set to open in Summer 2023.

Spanning three floors, GAIL’s will be in a prime location at the entrance to East Square and provide customers with its full offering: signature high-quality pastries, cakes, freshly baked bread, and hand-roasted specialty grade house blend coffee, all sourced from trusted suppliers to guarantee the best quality ingredients.

Louisa Butters, head of retail asset management UK at CBRE IM, commented on the signing: “At the Ashley Centre, we have a precise long-term strategy that we are successfully implementing to further strengthen the destination and have selected brands that will reflect our vision, with GAIL’s’ values and brand ethos coinciding with the type of community we are fostering within the centre. This signing marks the destination as a premium location for quality offerings, providing customers with quality baked goods and pastries in a characterful and inviting space, and we look forward to GAIL’s joining our F&B offer.”

This news follows the details of a £5 million refurbishment plan for the destination. The revitalisation of the scheme is set to complete towards the end of the year with a new and modern design. The investment plans will uplift the Ashley Centre, creating a positive change and driving new brands to the destination for the community to enjoy.

GCW and Cushman and Wakefield represent Ashley Centre. CBRE acted on behalf of GAIL’s.
