This month, the popular protein bar brand Barebells is launching into Tesco with a nationwide rollout across nearly 1000 stores. This rollout will be across Superstores, Extras, Expresses, Grocery Home Shopping and Whoosh in the UK. With the addition of Tesco, Barebells is now available in over 8,000 stores and 3,500 gyms nationwide.

As part of this launch, Barebells is introducing a brand new bar in the UK. This will launch on the Barebells website first (barebells.co.uk) and then with Tesco as the exclusive brick-and-mortar retailer. Barebells Marshmallow Rocky Road features a fluffy, chewy marshmallow layer, crunchy peanuts and sweet caramel, all wrapped up in a smooth milk chocolate coating, with 17g protein and no added sugar per bar.

Six SKUs will be available across hundreds of Tesco stores: Exclusive Marshmallow Rocky Road, Caramel Choco, Salted Peanut Caramel, Cookies & Cream, Raspberry Cream and Caramel Cashew.

On the Tesco launch, Matt Hollier, Managing Director at Vitamin Well UK and Ireland says “We’re thrilled to announce that Barebells protein bars are now available in Tesco stores across the UK, with 6x SKUs in hundreds of stores, marking a significant milestone in our journey. Expanding our presence to over 8,000 stores and 3,500 gyms nationwide is a testament to the growing demand for healthier, yet still delicious snacks. We are launching a new bar, Barebells Marshmallow Rocky Road, with Tesco as our exclusive brick-and-mortar retail partner, demonstrating our commitment to building a strong relationship with the retailer.”

Barebells offers a wide range of protein-enriched snacks that serve as great-tasting alternatives to sugary snacks, treats or on-the-go nutrition. Barebells products are all packed with protein, have no added sugar, no palm oil and never compromise on flavour. The brand was launched in Sweden in 2016 and is currently found in 40 markets globally, with other UK stockists including Co-op, Waitrose, Ocado, Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Morrisons, Boots, Holland & Barrett, WH Smith, Londis, BP, Budgens, Spar, Nisa, and Soho House Group.

£23.99 for 12 at barebells.co.uk £2.70 each in Tesco stores.
