Black Sheep CoffeeBlack Sheep Coffee (https://blacksheepcoffee.co.uk/) is set to open a new store at 90–92 Gordon Street, Glasgow, on Tuesday 27th October, bringing its signature coffee offering to the heart of the city centre.

Located moments from Glasgow Central Station, the new store will cater to commuters, office workers, local residents and visitors throughout the day. Designed primarily as a grab-and-go destination, the site will offer 20 internal seats with additional outdoor seating, alongside convenient takeaway options for customers on the move.

The opening will create around 20 new jobs, contributing to the 150 jobs supported by the franchisees’ Black Sheep Coffee operation. For Glasgow-born franchisees Suhail Rehman, CEO of SUR Group, and Tariq Din, Business Development Director, the investment reflects their commitment to creating local employment opportunities and continuing to invest in the city where they grew up.

Suhail Rehman, CEO of SUR Group, commented: “We’re excited to bring Black Sheep Coffee to Gordon Street, right in the heart of Glasgow. The response to our existing stores has given us real confidence to keep investing in the city, and this opening is another important step in our growth. We look forward to welcoming commuters, local workers and visitors for great coffee and a warm Glasgow welcome.”

The new store has been designed to complement the character of its surroundings, retaining elements of the building’s external masonry and stonework while bringing some of its traditional features into the interior. The result will combine the building’s heritage with Black Sheep Coffee’s distinctive contemporary interiors.

Tariq Din, business development firector at SUR Group, added: “We’re particularly proud to be investing in a landmark Glasgow building, restoring its character while creating new jobs in the heart of our home city. For SUR Group, this is about more than opening another store — it’s about continued investment in Glasgow, its people, and its future.”

To celebrate the opening, customers visiting on Tuesday 27th October will be able to enjoy £1 coffees, with the first 100 customers also receiving a Black Sheep Coffee branded tote bag.

The new store forms part of SUR Group’s continued investment in Scotland, with further openings planned for Glasgow Fort, Clydebank and Stirling over the coming months. Through its growing presence, the franchisee group aims to create further employment opportunities while bringing new life to city-centre locations.

The new opening forms part of Black Sheep Coffee’s continued expansion across the UK, bringing its distinctive coffee offering to new communities while encouraging customers to leave the herd behind.

Black Sheep Coffee Gordon Street will open on Tuesday 27th October 2026 at 90–92 Gordon Street, Glasgow, G1 1NF. Opening hours are 6am–8pm, Monday–Saturday, and 7am–8pm on Sunday.
