Botivo, the big-sipping botanical aperitivo, is proud to announce its nationwide launch in Waitrose. Now available in 287 Waitrose stores across the UK, this marks a significant milestone as the premium brand’s first major grocer listing, following its success in Whole Foods Market, where it became a best-selling ‘spirit’.
This partnership highlights Waitrose’s dedication to supporting quality, unique, and emerging products that align with shifting consumer tastes. Botivo offers a distinct and innovative alternative to mimic drinks, setting a new standard in the no and low category.
Sarah Holland, buyer – beers and spirits at Waitrose & Partners, shared: “We are truly excited to launch Botivo across 287 Waitrose stores. It’s a true craft product that brings something unique and delicious to the no and low category. We are proud to champion them.”
Botivo will retail at £27.50 at Waitrose – each bottle makes 20 drinks.
Founded by Sam Paget Steavenson and Imme Ermgassen, Botivo is on a mission to redefine the no and low category by focusing on taste and the quality of the liquid rather than the % ABV. Unlike many other drinks in this space, Botivo was not designed for moderation alone. It was created for people who are passionate about food and drink, emphasising craftsmanship through small-batch production, the absence of flavorings or preservatives, and a maker’s attention to detail.
Imme Ermgassen, Co-Founder of Botivo, says: “Waitrose is a dream stockist for any brand – let alone a young one like ours. Having Waitrose champion a unique brand like Botivo shows that consumer tastes are changing and there is a growing demand for true craft and non-mimic products in the non-alcoholic space.”
