British aperitif house Botivo has joined forces with luxury pleasure brand Coco de Mer to create a limited-edition aphrodisiac-inspired botanical aperitif, in celebration of Coco de Mer’s 25 anniversary. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to British-led craft and the pleasure found in what is carefully made, thoughtfully sourced and artfully designed.
Rooted in a shared love of artisanal playfulness, the partnership showcases pleasure as craft: layered, intentional and best savoured slowly. This is the first collaboration of this kind the non-alcoholic drinks market has ever seen, combining fashion with luxury food and drink, and a splash of humour.
Details:
- Created by Botivo founder Sam Paget Steavenson in collaboration with Coco de Mer.
- Layers juicy cherry, lip-tingling chilli, velvety cacao and warming ginseng into Botivo’s botanical base, the result is a ritual-led drink designed as much to be collected as consumed. Inspired by the Coco de Mer brand.
- Designed to be served long with soda over ice and a cherry garnish, or used to elevate alcoholic cocktails.
- Limited run of 1,000 bottles positioned as a collectible cultural object.
- Label artwork by Rozalina Burkova, reimagining Botivo’s illustrated characters through Coco de Mer’s sensual lens.
- Launching 15th April as part of 25 years of Coco de Mer to celebrate a modern, culturally fluent approach to pleasure.
- Available at botivodrinks.com and Coco de Mer flagship London store for £34
The collaboration signals a wider cultural shift, with fashion and food increasingly in dialogue – dissolving boundaries between taste, design and desire. Coco de Mer is a natural counterpart: two British brands united by craft, storytelling and a pleasure-first philosophy.
“After collaborating with Ottolenghi we wanted to surprise people by stepping somewhere even more playful and unexpected. Fashion and food & drink are increasingly colliding in brilliant, creative ways, and Coco de Mer felt like the perfect partner – a brand that shares our love of British craft and a pleasure-first philosophy. Together, we wanted to create something a little disruptive: a collaboration that brings the worlds of pleasure and drinks together with humour, creativity and storytelling at its heart,” said Imme Ermgassen, co-founder, Botivo.
“Designing exciting sensory experiences is at the heart of what we do, so partnerships like this one are a true joy. The collaboration with Botivo celebrates a wonderful fusion of creativity, craft and passion – and we’re thrilled to bring this to life together. At Coco de Mer, we exist to champion female sensuality in all its forms, and as we mark 25 years of pioneering pleasure, this aperitivo feels like the perfect way to honour the milestone – a sensory delight that captures our spirit of curiosity, indulgence and celebration,” said Lucy Litwack, owner & CEO, Coco de Mer.
