Brooklyn BreweryBrooklyn Brewery is turning up the volume on craft beer in the UK, rolling out five new brews from mid-March, three of which are limited edition exclusives only available at Tesco. The expanded lineup marks the brewery’s biggest UK expansion to date, and will see Brooklyn’s UK range more than double – jumping from four to nine.

Launching both in-store and online, Brooklyn Brewery’s Tesco exclusives will be supported by a disruptive rollout across Tesco’s craft beer aisles and in-store displays with an unmissable presence online.

The new lineup is as follows:

Tesco-exclusive limited editions:

  • Butterfly Photobomb Double IPA (8.40% ABV) – a lush, hazy double IPA packed with Sabro hops, delivering waves of freshly peeled tangerine, coconut milk and sweet passion fruit. Butterfly Photobomb will be available in single 440ml cans (RRP £4.00)
  • Sorachi Ace Saison Beer (7.20% ABV) – a revival of the rare Japanese Sorachi Ace hop, this saison features powerful aromas and a crisp, citrusy finish – a Garrett Oliver special and cult favourite among beer lovers. Sorachi Ace will be available in single 440ml cans (RRP £3.75)
  • Playa De Brooklyn Lime Lager (4.80% ABV) – a refreshingly lime-twisted lager brewed for sun-soaked sessions. Bright, juicy and effortlessly drinkable. Playa De Brooklyn will be available in single 440ml cans (RRP £3.00)

Core range additions:

  • Pulp Art Hazy IPA (4.60% ABV) – inspired by the rebellious creativity behind the Pop Art movement, this juicy IPA is bursting with pineapple, ripe mango and citrus notes. A modern classic for hazy IPA lovers. Pulp Art will be available in 4-packs of 330ml cans (RRP £6.25)
  • Bodega Run Pale Ale (3.40% ABV) – a tribute to the iconic corner stores in Brooklyn, this easy drinking pale brings a harmonious fusion of citrus, floral and woody notes for a crisp and refreshing finish. Bodega Run will be available in 4-packs of 330ml cans (RRP £5.00)

Jo Marshall, director of marketing for ales & craft at Carlsberg Britvic, said: “This launch is about bringing the bold taste and trailblazing spirit of our namesake’s borough to the UK, as we continue to push boundaries with big flavours and innovative brewing. It’s a big moment for us, and we’re honoured to be marking it with Tesco.

“Launched as a limited release to drive excitement, the Tesco range is a mix of sessionable favourites and standout, high-impact brews – each one packing the punch of Brooklyn’s vibrant creativity. Working with Tesco, we’re giving beer drinkers more choice than ever, whether they’re after a hazy IPA, zesty lager or something completely different like a Japanese saison”.

Ben Cole, buying manager for craft beers, wines and spirits at Tesco, commented: “We’re always looking for the best beers to bring to our customers, and Brooklyn Brewery is one of the most iconic names on the craft scene right now”

He continued: “From easy going session beers to bolder limited editions, there’s something for every taste and occasion, and we’re excited to get these new beers into our stores.”
