cardfactory cardfactory has launched its first UK-wide Click and Collect service. Based on the success of a trial period across 87 stores, the service has now been rolled out across the UK.

The card and gifts retailer’s new service for shoppers is available via its website, app and at over 1,000 stores. Presently it is not available in Jersey or the Republic of Ireland.

Shoppers can choose from a huge range online across gifts, cards, personalised cards and selected personalised gifts. Shoppers are given access to the retailer’s online store locator tool to select which store they wish to collect their items from. Once the order has been placed they will receive a confirmation email when the items are ready to collect from the chosen store. There is no processing fee for orders over £10 and customers have a collection window of ten days to pick up their order with the customer service team available to assist if required.

The new service from cardfactory will offer customers greater flexibility and access to the retailer’s unbeatable value and quality in time for Father’s Day and a busy wedding season.

Sam Davies, digital director at cardfactory, said: “Our digital data has shown that more people want to access the high-quality, affordable range of gifts and cards we provide with ease. The introduction of our Click and Collect service and ordering products at the click of a few buttons offers flexibility, more choice and adds an extra layer of convenience to shopping with us.”

Earlier this year, cardfactory announced profits had tripled, boosted by strong store performances and shoppers embracing the high street. The company saw annual revenue reach ÂŁ463.4 million in the year to January 31.

Sam continued: “The success of the new service presents the opportunity to roll out Click and Collect across even more of our range and in the future we hope to offer a next day collection option for those last-minute gifts.”

“With shoppers returning to the high street and connecting our stores and online channels, we can offer our customers a great experience and added convenience. We are well positioned to make good progress in our transition to becoming the market leading omnichannel retailer of cards and gifts.”

Which products are available for Click and Collect purchases?
Hundreds of products are available from wedding cards and hen party accessories to a huge range of Father’s Day gifts and personalised items.

How much does it cost to use the Click and Collect service?
The service is free to customers who spend over ÂŁ10. There is a ÂŁ3.99 charge if the basket total is under ÂŁ10.

Where do I pick up shopping at cardfactory’s Click and Collect?
cardfactory’s new Click and Collect service is available at all UK stores nationwide other than Jersey presently. Customers will also be able to pay for any additional items they’ve picked up whilst in store.

Can you extend the collection window?
Shoppers can contact the team at cardfactory who can assist.

What if I change my mind and no longer want the order?
If shoppers no longer require the items they can contact customer service for further information on how to return the items.

Can shoppers return an order?
Yes. Customers can contact cardfactory and a member of the customer service team will provide information on how to return the order. A refund will be issued to the original payment method, to the value of the items on the confirmation email.
