Cheeky Panda brings bamboo tissues and UK’s first plastic-free bamboo pocket tissue to Morrisons

Cheeky Panda, the UK’s leading brand for everyday essentials made from sustainable bamboo, is excited to announce a major new listing in Morrisons. From today, Cheeky Panda’s Flat Box Tissue, Cube Tissue, and Plastic-Free Bamboo Pocket Tissues will begin rolling out across 427 Morrisons stores nationwide, marking the first time the brand has launched its new branding with a major UK retailer.

In a category-first, Cheeky Panda’s new Plastic-Free Pocket Bamboo Tissue line (wrapped in recyclable paper packaging), will launch exclusively in Morrisons until the end of the year. Retailing at an RRP of £2.00 for an eight-pack, this product directly addresses growing consumer demand for plastic-free alternatives and sustainable everyday essentials.

All Cheeky Panda tissues are made from 100% FSC-certified bamboo, a fast-growing renewable resource. They’re soft, strong, and offer great value, providing an excellent alternative to tree-based paper tissues. The Flat Box Tissue contains 80 sheets per box (vs. 64 sheets for competitors) at an RRP of £2.00, while the Cube Tissue contains 56 sheets per box (vs. 48 sheets) at an RRP of £1.75.

Founded in 2016 by husband-and-wife team Julie Chen and Chris Forbes, Cheeky Panda has grown from a spare-bedroom startup into a certified B Corp with products sold in 25 countries. With its characterful identity and striking colour palette, the brand’s new design aims to increase its iconicity and irresistibility as it continues to grow.

Cheeky Panda is now the number 4 branded tissue in the UK and the number 1 eco tissue brand on Ocado. Started by husband and wife team; Julie Chen and Chris Forbes, the now a team of 35 sell across the UK, Europe and US.
