CleanCo, the leading independent Non-Alcoholic spirit brand in the UK* is pleased to announce their exclusive non-alcoholic partnership with the leading UK festival, Camp Bestival across both weekends in Dorset and Shropshire.

The partnership is part of the brand’s wider strategy for the summer months, with a focus on the consumer’s liquid-on-lips trial of the product as an alternative to full-strength spirits during the festival and summer season.

The brand’s festival strategy is a big step for the independent brand founded by entrepreneur Spencer Matthews in 2019.  Their exclusivity means CleanCo will sit alongside leading full-strength partners as an option for those who do not wish to drink during the festival.  Changing consumer tastes and attitudes towards alcohol have changed recently with 1 in 5 adults now not drinking alcohol.

CleanCo’s appearance at Camp Bestival and other festivals this summer provides the brand with access to 100,000s of attendees to trial the product and to help challenge any stigma around non-alcoholic, gluten-free and vegan drinks, providing consumers with the chance to trial product and experience the taste for themselves, whilst also promoting a more responsible and inclusive way to enjoy festivals this summer.

As part of its summer campaign, the brand will be launching its Summer Spritz campaign featuring its renowned Clean G Rhubarb non-alcoholic gin alternative as part of a wider digital activation for summer.

“We’re very excited to be partnering with some of the UK’s leading festivals this summer and to get people experiencing our product.  We want to challenge people’s perceptions that non-alcoholic drinks don’t taste as good and the idea that you need to drink to have fun.  Our exclusive non-alcoholic partnership with Bestival is a very exciting move for the brand and we’re pleased to offer classic cocktails with a non-alcoholic spin for those who aren’t drinking but wish to enjoy a delicious serve.  We’ve found through many conversations, that more people are wanting to be present and mindful when attending festivals, and CleanCo is the perfect alternative to enjoy,” said George Hood, marketing manager.

CleanCo’s presence at Bestival is one of the many activations the brand will participate in as part of a schedule of summer events including:

  • Taste of London – 14th – 18th June 2023
  • Camp Bestival (Dorset) – 27th – 30th July 2023
  • Camp Bestival (Shropshire) – 17th – 20th August 2023
  • Pub in the Park (Chiswick) – 1st – 3rd September 2023

The iconic CleanCo camper van will be visible at all the festivals supplying Clean Cocktails using each of their core range – Clean G (Gin alternative),  Clean T (Agave Spirit alternative), Clean R (Rum alternative) and Clean W (Whiskey alternative).
