Co-op rolls out an extensive summer range for 2025, featuring nearly 100 lines to inspire its members and customers, including lots of new and innovative products, alongside customer favourites which are back by popular demand.
With a store in every postal code area, Co-op is the most ‘shopped shop’ in the UK with on average 16 million weekly visits per week, and its quick-commerce service offers convenient home delivery in as little as under 60 minutes.
The summer months are a peak period for the retailer, as Co-op’s expertise in convenience allow it to be best placed to cater to last-minute get-togethers without the fuss. Co-op shoppers can go from the decision to having a barbecue, to popping in-store or hopping online to gather the essentials, to hosting it all within the hour.
Incorporating the latest trends, global and local influences loved by British shoppers, Co-op’s flavour of the season is hot honey – with a nod to the growing popularity of the flavour reflected across its core summer categories. The entire summer range also champions the retailer’s commitment to ethical sourcing, convenience, and quality food with a focus on British produce and easy-to-cook products which pack a punch.
Alongside its focus on quality and responsible sourcing, the retailer is supporting the new product launches with a raft of money-saving offers to provide shoppers with great value, including a ‘3 for 2’ on picnic food* and ‘2 for £5.50 on barbecue items*.
This year, Co-op has been named as ‘Best BBQ for 2025’ by Good Housekeeping Institute in its annual summer food & drink taste test, highlighting the retailer as the go-to destination this summer.
Nicole Tallant, director of Co-op Own Brand, said: “This summer, we’ve put our foot on the peddle to drive newness, product innovation, increase the breadth of our range and jump on the season’s hottest food trends. All whilst continuing to stock a fantastic selection of summer staples we know our member-owners and customers come back to us for each year.
We’re extremely proud to be named as ‘Best BBQ 2025’ by the Good Housekeeping Institute, which solidifies Co-op as the go-to destination for award-winning food this summer, proves shopping conveniently doesn’t mean compromising on quality and further champions our support for British farmers. Roll on a great British summer packed full of back-garden barbecues, picnics on-the-go, alfresco dinners and impromptu drinks and nibbles at home with friends, whatever the weather.”
The leading convenience retailer’s own brand range is now in stores nationwide and available to shop online. Highlights from the new menu include:
