TV’s ‘Traitors effect’ saw online sales at Co-op jump by almost one-third last night as viewers ordered drinks, snacks and meals to enjoy the twists, turns and tension of TV’s Celebrity Traitors’ season finale at home.
As friends and families settled down to watch Alan Carr emerge victorious, viewers were putting their TV remote controls down and ordering groceries that would be delivered from store to door in minutes without any ‘drama’ so that fans of the top-rated show didn’t need to leave the sofa. A peak of 12 million viewers are said to have sat down to watch the show.

Along with milk for that all important cup of tea to settle the nerves. Co-op’s Double Pepperoni Stonebaked Pizza was a clear favourite for a TV meal.
