Crew Clothing enters sportswear category with Crew Sport

Crew ClothingCrew Clothing today announces the launch of a brand-new technical sportswear collection, Crew Sport. The range is the lifestyle brand’s first holistic activewear collection, offering a wide selection of men’s and womenswear pieces, suitable for a variety of sports and fitness activities. Combining technical performance with the premium British brand’s signature style, Crew Sport is set to launch in mid-June online and across the Crew’s store estate.

The range aims to offer true versatility, with styles designed for all lifestyles, abilities and fitness levels. From low-impact yoga or reformer Pilates, to higher-intensity Hyrox workouts and padel games, there’s something for everyone in the collection. There’s also dedicated running gear for both genders, suitable for the track, roads or trails. Crew have focussed on three key brand pillars when designing the collection, which you can see reflected through the category: team spirit, inclusivity, and British legacy.

There are several capsules within the whole Crew Sport range. Seam-Free styles are seamless for a flattering fit, with compact, nylon elastane fabric, and jacquard panels to keep you cool through your workout. Key pieces include a crop top and leggings with a wide, comfortable waistband. In the more relaxed capsule, buttery soft fabric is key, designed to offer ease of movement while remaining breathable and sweat-wicking.

The Bi-Stretch styles boast ergonomic seams to follow the body’s natural contours, and have UPF50+ protection. Crew have also included a dedicated running jacket, gilet and shorts, with lightweight woven fabric and reflective detailing. Finally, the Technical capsule has breathable, sweat-wicking fabric with four-way stretch for performance and recovery. Key styles here include full and half zip track tops.

Head of marketing Naomi Parry commented: “Entering the sportswear space feels like a natural progression for Crew. Born out of a Salcombe windsurfing shop, we launched our very first collection with rugby shirts designed by a GB skier – sport is in our DNA! In the last decade we’ve built on our sporting legacy through our sponsorship partnerships with Henley Royal Regatta, the LTA and the England Red Roses rugby team, and Crew Sport is the next step in our journey. We know our customers live active, varied lifestyles, and we think this new collection will be the ideal addition to their wardrobe.”

Head of design Jo Miller said: “Designed to transcend age, gender and fitness level, our new athleticwear collection blends our timeless heritage with cutting-edge details. Fabrics have been crafted with performance in mind – from compact nylon elastane styles which will hold you in for optimal movement, to super soft, drapey pieces that are ideal for your next yoga session. We’ve become known for our signature touches over the years, and you’ll find that here too. Whether it’s the unrestrictive storm flap on our running gilet or the thumb holes on our track top, we’ve thought through all the little details. Look out for our iconic crossed oars – we’ve reimagined these in a high visibility reflective print and included this throughout the collection.”

Prices range from £25 to £65. Crew Sport will be available to buy on crewclothing.com from the 17th June 2025, and in 41 stores, including 4 flagship destinations.
