The East of England Co-op is delighted to announce the return of Snappy Shopper rapid-delivery service, offering members and customers even greater convenience when shopping locally.

Following a successful partnership in previous years, the regional retailer is relaunching Snappy Shopper as part of its renewed focus on enhanced accessibility and flexibility for customers across its food estate.

The new partnership sees Snappy Shopper orders fulfilled through a technical agreement with Nash, who will coordinate deliveries on behalf of the East of England Co-op using trusted courier partners including Stuart, Uber Direct and Just Eat Go. This approach provides a more scalable, sustainable and efficient delivery model, allowing the retailer to expand its reach without the need to operate its own delivery vehicles.

Chief commercial officer for the East of England Co-op, Simon Dryell ,said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing Snappy Shopper back for our members and customers. Convenience is at the heart of what we do, and this relaunch enables us to provide a seamless, flexible service while making the most of new technology and delivery partnerships.

“We know many of our members and customers loved using Snappy Shopper before and we’re excited to reintroduce the service in a way that’s even better suited to their needs today.”

The initial relaunch began on Monday 17 November, and Snappy Shopper is now available in five pilot stores; Barking Road and Rushmere in Suffolk, Earls Colne and Mersea Road in Essex and Costessey in Norfolk.

The East of England Co-op is owned by its members and is driven by its commitment to supporting local communities. The retailer has donated over £1 million to good causes in East Anglia over the last three years.
