easyShop guarantees lowest peak shipping rates for UK retailers through Smart Send integration

easyShop.com, the new marketplace from the easy® family of brands, has teamed up with Parcel2Go to guarantee retailers selling in the UK the lowest shipping prices until the final Christmas posting dates. The partnership comes as sellers face a longer, more expensive peak. Royal Mail’s peak surcharge for business accounts begins on 2 November, more than two weeks earlier than last year.

The exclusive offer runs through Smart Send, Parcel2Go’s multi-channel shipping platform. easyShop sellers get exclusive discounted rates from more than 15 couriers, all covered by Parcel2Go’s Lowest Price Guarantee. Retailers who connect their store and send their first parcel before 30 November also receive £50 of shipping credit.

Cas Paton, founder and CEO of OnCommerce, the platform powering easyShop, said: “We launched easyShop just over a week ago with a promise to treat sellers fairly, and that means tackling the costs that hurt them most.”Thanks to our partnership with Smart Send, easyShop sellers are guaranteed the lowest shipping price right up to the last posting day, so more of every sale stays in their pocket. While other marketplaces add fees at peak, we’re helping sellers bring their costs down.”

Smart Send brings easyShop orders into the same dashboard sellers use for their other sales channels. From there, they can compare couriers, print labels in bulk and automate carrier choice, taking the hassle out of shipping when sellers are at their busiest.Every parcel can also be protected for additional peace of mind and claims management, ensuring that logistics remain stable as transaction volumes increase through the end of the year.

Paul Doble, CEO of Parcel2Go, said:”easyShop is a great new opportunity for UK sellers. With Smart Send, they get exclusive business rates across more than 15 couriers and spend less time on shipping admin at the busiest time of year. The exclusive £50 credit gives them a head start for peak.”

Retailers can register to sell on easyShop ahead of the Black Friday and Christmas rush. They can also sign up to use Smart Send for free to access guaranteed lowest shipping costs and reduced shipping admin before this busy peak period.
