EptaAt EuroShop 2026, Epta showcased its strategic shift. The Company embraces a full 360-degree value approach, where high-performance refrigerated equipment is just the starting point.

Epta delivers comprehensive all-round solutions that answer to customers’ needs and that can simultaneously represent a combination of hardware, software, people skills and consulting. These elements can come into play seamlessly either together, individually or consequently, throughout the entire lifecycle of the store. From advanced digitalisation to innovative servitisation models, the Company’s offering is conceived as a cohesive, future-proof ecosystem for retailers, driving sustainable growth.

Unlocking the perfect solution

It all begins with the product – the cabinet itself. Yet the commitment extends far beyond it. Every cabinet is paired with a tailor-made refrigeration system, dedicated to each customer by EptaTechnica, which also manages installation and commissioning. The in-store experience is then shaped through EptaConcept, ensuring a seamless and engaging environment for shoppers. Completing Epta’s fully integrated system are post-sale services via EptaService, ensuring optimal performance and lasting value.

These services work together to extend product lifecycle, transforming it into a forward-looking and sustainable investment. Epta’s solutions are built to last and supported by qualified technicians who guarantee proper maintenance and optimal performance over time.

MyEpta: onesingle gateway to smarter refrigeration

A major innovation set to transform new equipment, MyEpta debuted at EuroShop 2026 as an innovative, multi-function platform serving as a single reliable gateway to all technical data and support resources. All unified in one secure environment. Epta, as a Fully Integrated Provider, delivers far more than just equipment, empowering retailers to manage assets and operations with unprecedented ease.

A unified dashboard consolidates manuals, KPIs, documentation and service actions, delivering enhanced accuracy, speed and real-time visibility without the need for connectivity, additional hardware or brand-specific controllers.

MyEpta features a modular architecture tailored to individual customer needs. Users can select single solutions or manage an entire store’s fleet through two intuitive modes:

  • ASSET ID: a unique data access point assigned to each piece of Epta equipment through an NFC tag applied directly to the cabinet. It enables faster diagnostics, more efficient maintenance and a clearer view of each product’s lifecycle;
  • STORE ID: a centralised hub in a single intuitive interface that brings together equipment lists, documents, service tools, contracts, KPIs and all key data, giving real-time visibility and control. It provides data-driven support for maintenance and investment decisions, allowing retailers to make informed choices and optimise operational performance.

MyEpta also enables access to the Digital Services within EptaService’s after-sales package. Through this unique gateway to Epta’s digital ecosystem, customers can connect to advanced platforms such as SwitchON for remote monitoring and control of cabinets and power packs, and GAM, for centralised alarm management. The environment is further enriched by a comprehensive digital catalogue with an integrated e‑commerce service for spare parts.

EptaService:

Ensuring reliability, performance and growth

The after-sales dimension forms the bedrock of Epta’s value proposition, serving as a valuable ally for Retailers. This framework delivers uninterrupted reliability, transforming potential disruptions into opportunities through two strategic clusters:

  • Maintenance & Repair: a complete suite of preventive and corrective operations, from planned maintenance and refrigerant leak detection, to round-the-clock call center support and swift repairs encompassing both labor and spare parts;
  • Complementary Services: a set of activities tailored to each market’s specific needs, delivering enhanced equipment longevity, optimised connectivity and proactive issue resolution. Custom modernisation projects empower retailers with on-demand upgrades, ensuring sustained competitiveness.

This flexible architecture allows retailers to tailor the level of service to their operational priorities through two alternative packages: Main, which includes all core services across the Maintenance & Repair and Complementary clusters, and Xtend Extended Warranty Program, a premium option that adds full access to Epta’s digital suite.

Smart refrigeration drives store evolution

Beyond monitoring:

Refrigeration’s new value horizon

Refrigerated cabinets are no longer just products, evolving into service tools whose impact extends far beyond thermal management, fueling both operational efficiency and commercial value.

Thanks to new technologies, every solution is conceived as a combination of products and services designed to maximise rationalisation and profitability through a harmonised, data-driven view of store operations.

Modern counters “generate” terabytes of actionable data that can deliver an offering where hardware, after-sales services and value-added services converge.

Operational and commercial

Servitization in action

Servitization is the strategic transformation that allows Companies to compete through integrated systems of products, services and software. Enabled by digital technologies, it generates recurring value across the entire installed base, shifting focus from a simple point-of-sale transaction to the customer’s lifecycle and outcomes.

Epta translates complexity into clarity through a dual approach of operational and commercial servitization. On the operational side, performance is enhanced where it matters most: energy management is optimised, maintenance becomes predictive rather than reactive and store continuity is ensured across formats of every size. Commercially, the store itself evolves into a dynamic platform, where shopper behavior data informs replenishment, transforms shelves into drivers of traffic and revenue and generates actionable insights that can be monetised.

Epta powering store evolution

Epta leads the store evolution, providing a growing portfolio of value-added services that drive Retailers to unexplored levels of competitiveness. Refrigerated cabinet data enable not only core functions such as telemonitoring and predictive maintenance. They also power new capabilities for energy optimisation, shelf management and a new dimension of operational excellence.

Data collection and analysis sit at the core of this transformation. By consolidating insights from every cabinet and device, Epta improves operations, simplifies compliance and unlocks intelligence that can be acted upon in real time.

Epta transforms refrigerated cabinets into smart merchandising touchpoints that elevate fresh value streams. A standout proof-of-concept technology, DOOR OPENING TRACKER (DOT), provides actionable insights for smart replenishment. By tracking real interaction patterns Store Managers get heatmapping of hot and cold zones to cut energy consumption. Moreover, consumers enjoy always-stocked shelves, boosting satisfaction and loyalty. Ultimately, employees reduce manual checks, saving time.

Turning cabinets into high-value media assets

Further advancing this proof-of-concept evolution, GLASSVIEW is Epta’s retail-media digital signage that turns refrigerated cabinets into premium advertising spaces. This adds a new strategic revenue layer: Store Managers generate ad income from FMCG brands that gain prime visibility at purchase points, while consumers get dynamic information plus targeted promotions for a richer in-store experience. These innovations converge data, tech and merchandising to redefine a new era of refrigeration in modern retail.

These results are made possible through Epta’s partnership with Quividi, the pioneering provider of AI- and multisensor-based audience measurement solutions for Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) and In-Store Retail Media. Quividi’s Audience Measurement Platform (AMP) uses computer vision to anonymously detect audience silhouettes and, optionally, analyse demographics and attention metrics, enabling precise and actionable insights for retail media performance.

Epta’s next frontier

Epta’s next frontier is not refrigeration, it’s relevance. By turning data into insight, and hardware into service, Epta is building the future of in-store value creation, where refrigeration meets intelligence and every store becomes a platform for growth, experience and performance.
