EptaIn a fiercely competitive landscape, a retailer’s true distinction lies in a fresh department that shapes customer expectations, fosters lasting loyalty and establishes the store’s identity.

GOOD POINTS UPWARDS is Epta’s dedicated area for technologies designed to elevate the overall in-store experience. It delivers a consistent, high-quality environment that directly enhances consumer satisfaction. When shaped with expertise and strategic intent, the fresh department becomes a decisive differentiator within contemporary grocery retail. Epta enhances product visibility, operational flow and creates a more immersive shopping experience. Through its innovative solutions, the Company sets the stage for next-generation display cabinets that bring fresh excellence to the forefront.

Where freshness meets its

Zenith and visual appeal shines Epta raises the art of freshness to its zenith, the very idea that inspired the name of the Costan/Bonnet Névé cutting-edge line of positive vertical cabinets, unveiled exclusively @EuroShop 2026.

A zenith that is not only technological but also visual. A fitting lead-in as today, visibility is more important than ever. Consumers increasingly respond to displays that deliver a sense of spectacle and theatrical presentation. Zenith embodies this vision, and serves as a symbol of Epta’s conscious innovation, built around four key pillars: merchandising, sustainability, reliability and digital & services.

MERCHANDISING

A Pinnacle of exquisite showcasing

Designed to enable an intuitive shopping journey, Zenith guides consumers effortlessly through high visibility, modern aesthetics and great perceived quality.

High visibility through

essential design &

modern aesthetics Transparency is key: Zenith cabinets are crafted as ultra-transparent cubes, set on sturdy bases. Crystal-clear doors and side panels form the main surfaces, making the cabinets almost disappear and enabling the goods to take centre stage.

The door height has been extended both upwards and downwards, providing full transparency. This design increases the Total Display Area by 5% compared to NT previous remote models and by 13% compared to previous Integral series.

Additionally, slim, transparent polycarbonate handles, ensure the merchandise remains the focus. In the same spirit, inclusive design principles are prioritised to provide an optimal height suitable for all users.

Tailored slanting

Perfect lighting

For Good Quality The inclined upper and lower internal grids naturally guide the customer’s gaze, drawing attention to the products on display. Shelves and brackets are adjustable on 25 mm pitch uprights, allowing for a slanting of 0°, –7°, –14° and –21°. This grants retailers full flexibility to arrange their fresh assortment, creating a display that is greatly impactful.

Advanced LED Lighting refines the effect. Zenith’s low-consumption LED system lifts the perceived quality of products to a diamond-like brilliance. This creates a strong visual appeal that captures consumers’ attention and significantly boosts sales.

SUSTAINABILITY

At the summit of sustainable cooling

At the summit of sustainable cooling, the range enhances visual display while simultaneously achieving a best-in-class energy rating: a result that defies conventional trade-offs.

Each model has been carefully optimised for energy efficiency, with an average reference saving of -36% (Advance models), supporting faster payback and lower operating costs. All are rated Class B and use 100% natural refrigerants, underlining Epta’s dedication to preserving the planet.

Demonstrating its technological leadership, Epta unveils @EuroShop a prototype of Zenith in a new configuration, specifically engineered to achieve Class A in 3M0. Through targeted technical enhancements, including further optimisation of the air circuit, the integration of high energy-efficiency components and upgraded insulation, the cabinet delivers a significant reduction in thermal dispersion and energy consumption, achieving savings of up to 32% compared with Zenith Advance+ in Class B. Although still at the concept stage, these results confirm Epta’s commitment to high-performance solutions, positioning the prototype as a benchmark for energy efficiency in the retail environments of the future.

All Zenith cabinets benefit from extra insulation, bringing negative-model standards into positive units by increasing foamed structure thickness from 30 mm to 60 mm. This enhanced insulation improves thermal stability across the entire line. Class 4 performance is hence achieved exclusively by the Advance+ models. Moreover, the foaming process employs cyclopentane, eliminating the need for PFAS substances and further enhancing the range’s environmental sustainability.

Ultimately, Epta is performing Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) on Zenith, already compliant with Eurovent cPCRs, to provide a robust and verifiable measure of environmental impact. These LCAs evaluate all stages of the product’s lifecycle, from materials sourcing and energy consumption to greenhouse gas emissions and end-of-life management. Building on this data, Epta provides transparent comparisons with previous-generation cabinets, highlighting its commitment to conscious, responsible product design.

Efficiency engineered

Targeted technical improvements to the cooling system also contribute to energy savings. First of all, fans run at lower speeds, directly reducing consumption, without compromising cooling performance. Advance models feature fixed-speed fans, whereas Advance+ models rely on dual-speed fans with night/day control for further efficiency. The evaporator has been technically optimised 16 tubes for Advance models and 24 tubes for Advance+ models. This combination works in synergy with an innovative airflow system, delivering temperature uniformity and long-term thermal stability.

RELIABILITY

Forged to endure throughout the lifecycle

All Zenith models are engineered as a single, robust, ready-to-install cabinet, up to L375, designed to simplify installation while ensuring safe transportation. Developed around a new concept and validated through eight dedicated field tests, Zenith delivers long-term durability, increased reliability and reduced maintenance over its entire service life.

Accessibility is in every detail: the electrical box is positioned on top of the cabinet, allowing quick and safe access without any space constraint. Valves, probes and evaporator connections are fully visible and easily reachable, reducing service time and improving maintenance efficiency throughout the cabinet’s lifecycle.

Key components such as LED lighting and handles can be easily and quickly replaced, helping extend the cabinet’s service life while maintaining performance, aesthetics and reliability over time.

DIGITAL SERVICES

One Access Point for

Smarter Asset Management

Digital technologies deliver instant asset visibility, enabling higher efficiency, improved uptime and new service opportunities. All Zenith models feature full integration with SwitchOn, EptaService’s advanced diagnostic platform for remote cabinets. This technology offers a detailed, real-time view of operating parameters, allowing remote monitoring and management of refrigeration units 24/7.

Versatility in every model

The Zenith solutions highlight Epta’s expertise across natural refrigeration technologies, from transcritical CO2 remote units to Integral propane (R290) models. The range includes the following cabinets:

  • Zenith Advance
  • Zenith Advance Open
  • Zenith Advance Integral

Integral by nature

The Zenith Advance Integral model is the first closed L375 cabinet with six doors to be powered by a single refrigeration circuit and compressor. This breakthrough comes from advanced features like double-structure insulation, doors with magnetic seals and other technical innovations regarding both the compressor and evaporator.

The transparent doors are fitted with high-performance glazing with a Ug value of 1.1 W/m²·K, reducing heat transfer while allowing full product visibility. Slim magnetic gaskets on the verticals ensure an effective seal and contribute to overall thermal efficiency. Furthermore, the new design offers a more compact footprint, reducing the overall depth by 100 mm thanks to the integration of the technical box on top, enabling better space optimisation.

Ultimately, the Zenith Advance Integral propane range shares a distinctive family feeling: a unified design language enables a wide range of flexible configurations, ensuring visual consistency and coherence throughout the fresh department.
