Foot Locker and ASICSFoot Locker and ASICS are paying homage to the city of Manchester and its renowned music scene with the drop of two new Foot Locker-exclusive colourways of the ASICS Gel-Kinetic Fluent.

The shoes arrive at Foot Locker in an all-black colourway for men, alongside a white, silver and pink option for women, and are available to buy exclusively in-store or online from Foot Locker.

In celebration of the two new additions, Foot Locker and ASICS are linking up with Manchester music institution, Habitat, to celebrate the city’s thriving nightlife and unique community, highlighting the importance of nightlife in supporting mental well-being via movement, mindfulness and positivity. As part of the launch, Foot Locker, ASICS and Habitat will come together for a series of exclusive events around the city this October.

On 9th October, Foot Locker and Habitat will throw a one-off, exclusive party at Ramona, Manchester, with performances from the Habitat community. Habitat’s renowned collective of DJs, including Tone Rarri, AK Gramm, Muzii Swaks, Chaise and Maddeh, will take to the decks throughout the night, whilst guests will have the chance to get their hands on the new colourways. To join the party, fans will need to keep an eye on Habitat’s social channels to bag a ticket.

For those looking to cop the new silhouettes in store, DJs from Habitat’s collective were playing live sets in the Foot Locker Manchester Arndale shop on 1st October 2-4pm. The store will also feature a bespoke Asics x Habitat product display, where customers can listen to a Habitat-curated playlist until 14th October.

Those not in Manchester can get in on the celebrations too, as every purchase of the new colourways comes with a limited-edition tote bag*.

Since opening its doors in 2019, Habitat has become a mainstay in the Manchester music scene, hosting some of the city’s best parties over the years. The venue was born to create a communal space for creatives to come together, and has since evolved into a thriving collective of DJs and events.

The Asics Gel-Kinetic Fluent is a limited edition available to buy now only at Foot Locker in-store and online. For more information, please visit: www.footlocker.co.uk.
