AldiAldi has revealed the full list of stores it will be opening between now and Christmas.

The announcement follows Aldi’s annual trading update earlier this week, when it outlined further investment in new stores, continued price cuts and more long-term agreements with British suppliers.

The supermarket, which currently has 1,092 stores, will open or relocate nearly 30 stores over the next 10 weeks, bringing affordable groceries to even more communities.

The full list of locations set to welcome a new Aldi store before the end of 2026 includes:

  • Bishop’s Cleeve, Gloucestershire
  • Malton, North Yorkshire
  • Orpington, Greater London
  • Ashford, Kent
  • Newport, South Wales
  • Newport, Isle of Wight
  • Basildon, Essex
  • Matlock, Derbyshire
  • Wimborne, Dorset
  • Stepney Green, London
  • Orrell, Greater Manchester
  • Dumbarton, West Dunbartonshire
  • Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire
  • Epsom, Surrey
  • Wellington, Somerset
  • Hattersley, Greater Manchester
  • Hanworth, Greater London
  • Willesden, London
  • Longbridge, West Midlands
  • Waterlooville, Hampshire
  • Egremont, Cumbria
  • Lower Gornal, West Midlands
  • Driffield, East Yorkshire
  • Chatham, Kent

Aldi stores in Sudbury, Sutton Coldfield and Wigan will also relocate before the end of the year.

Giles Hurley, chief executive officer for Aldi UK and Ireland, said: “We’re working hard to make good food more affordable for every family – cutting prices on everyday essentials, signing long-term supplier agreements to help increase home-grown production, and continuing to bring affordable groceries to even more communities through our store opening programme.

“This is why more customers are buying more products at Aldi – our relentless focus on simple, everyday low prices and award-winning quality.”

The announcement coincides with the supermarket’s latest annual results, which saw turnover increase 5% to a record £19bn* in the 12 months to 31st December 2025. Latest industry figures estimate its share of the UK grocery market at 10.6%.

Aldi – ranked the UK’s cheapest supermarket for the past five years*** and the only one whose prices are dropping year-on-year – said sales were being driven by more customers buying more products in more stores, thanks to its ‘relentless focus on simple, everyday low prices’.

Aldi also reaffirmed its commitment to continue cutting prices across its range in the build-up to Christmas. So far this year, Aldi has invested £340m in reducing prices on over 1,000 products, including orange juice, butter, fresh meat and frozen fish.
