Gü Desserts unveils “Cheeky Pots,” a delicious new range that has been three years in the making and promises broader choices for consumers seeking deceptively indulgent sweet treats. The Gü expert chefs have harnessed their craft and ingredient creativity to develop a range that is still indulgent but kind on calories.
Arriving just in time for spring, the range is set to hit the shelves of Sainsbury’s and Co-op from the 10th of April, followed by Tesco and Morrisons on the 11th of May 2024.
Emma Heeney, Head of Innovation at Gü, shares, “This is Gü cheekily rebalanced to give you great taste with just enough sweetness. We recognise the importance of balance and the role we play at Gü. So we’re excited to have developed this non-HFSS offering without compromising the exceptional taste and quality Gü is known for.”

Cheeky Pots Features:

  • HFSS Compliant: Embracing the shift towards healthier eating, Cheeky Pots are designed to meet and exceed HFSS regulations and help consumers enjoy a more balanced diet.
  • Everyday Indulgence: Championing the belief that delight shouldn’t be limited to the weekends, Cheeky Pots invite joy into every day, offering a treat that’s perfect for any moment.
  • Innovative Recipes: With each pot containing under 155 calories, Cheeky Pots are made with lighter alternatives like reduced-fat cream cheese and fresh fruit compote, with a true Gü moment in every spoonful.
The Cheeky Pots Range, created by Fred Ponnavoy, Gü Master Patisserie Chef:
Double Chocolate: Deceptively Indulgent
A luxuriously smooth chocolate dessert crafted with real milk chocolate and topped with rich, dark chocolate crème. Double the chocolate, double the indulgence at just 155 calories, minimum 51% cocoa, no artificial sweeteners and a source of protein.

Chocolate & Cherry: Playful Dance of Flavours
This cheeky take on a classic fruity pairing features an indulgent chocolate base with a lively cherry compote. The cherry on top is that it’s just 137 calories, with a minimum of 51% cocoa, real fruit compote, and a source of protein.

Stay tuned, as we have lots more indulgent Cheeky Pots in the works!

Kate Utting, UK Marketing Controller, expresses her excitement: “Our collaboration with our retail partners to bring Cheeky Pots to the market underscores our dedication to innovation and catering to the evolving needs of our consumers. Offering a sweet treat that’s both deceptively indulgent and kind on calories, we are striking the perfect balance for a cheeky treat whenever you crave it.”

RSP £3.75 with special introductory offers in participating stores across the launch period.
