Hawkstone announce a series of wins at the 2025 World Beer and Cider Awards, spearheaded by Hawkstone IPA and Hedgerow, which were both named Country Winners for England.
This year’s success builds on the momentum generated by our Hawkstone Lager, which was crowned England’s Best Lager at last year’s World Beer Awards.
The 2025 results demonstrate the strength and depth across our different products:
- Hawkstone IPA: Gold Medal & England Country Winner
- Hawkstone Hedgerow: Gold Medal & England Country Winner
- Hawkstone Cider: Gold Medal
- Hawkstone Session & Hawkstone Black: Both awarded Silver Medals
- Hawkstone Lager & Hawkstone Vodka: Both secured Bronze Medals
Hawkstone IPA can currently be purchased online on Hawkstone.com and is also stocked in pubs across the country, as well as in Waitrose and Co-Op Societies. Hedgerow launches in Waitrose nationwide in September.
Jonas Munk, chief commercial officer, said: “We’re excited to win big at the World beer awards for the second year in a row. It just proves our point: back British farming, use British ingredients, and you get the best beer and cider in the country.”
This recent award comes as we announce our latest special, Harvest IPA. We wanted to make an IPA to celebrate harvest time, but the British weather has been cruel, crop yields have been way down and we worried we wouldn’t have enough barley or hops to brew a new beer. Then we remembered that British farmers don’t give up and neither should we. British hops take centre stage. Solero and Harlequin hops bring out tropical fruit flavours. Then you get hits of candied orange, lime zest and grape from Akoya hops, followed by malty sweetness from British barley.
Harvest IPA will be exclusively available to Hawkstone’s subscribers (Hawkstonians) for the first two weeks of its release (released 15.08.2025).
