Honest Burgers awarded the R200 Innovation Award for new accessible dining format

Honest BurgersHonest Burgers has been awarded the R200 Innovation Award for its new accessible dining format, with the first restaurant having been launched at Liverpool Street at the end of 2024. The innovative concept was conceived to deliver the brand’s signature quality and hospitality to more customers, across more occasions.

Honest’s new format leverages their authentic British roots and commitment to quality and taste, while unlocking more moments for customers to enjoy the experience using menu innovation and customer technology. The result is a faster, even more accessible British burger concept that delivers the same high quality British beef, homemade cooking, and warm, welcoming service that customers expect,

2025 has marked a major chapter in Honest Burgers’ accelerated innovation and growth, with 12 new openings now underway, bringing the brand to 51 locations nationwide, including three new regions and additional sites in London and Bristol. This momentum follows the debut of Honest’s first convenience site, this one called ‘Smash + Grab’ as well as the success of Honest Insiders, the brand’s digital rewards app launched in June 2025, which has already surpassed 90,000 downloads, offering members exclusive perks and early access to new menu items. The brand has also continued to push cultural and culinary boundaries through partnerships with MOTH Cocktails and Xbox, delivering unique in-restaurant experiences.

Recognition from the R200 Innovation Awards, held by Restaurant on 25th November 2025 in Manchester, underscores Honest Burgers’ commitment to meaningful innovation, and journey to becoming the UK’s most loved burger brand, by delivering its brand promise in new ways. The Honest Smash + Grab restaurant is the first step in a broader programme of innovation and brand development, with further exciting plans to come.
