Ancestrally inspired health brand Hunter & Gather has been recognised as one of the UK’s fastest growing private companies, securing a place in the latest Sunday Times 100.
The brand ranked 85th in this year’s league table, improving on last year’s position of 97th, after achieving annual sales of £16.6m and growth of 62.5%.
Founded in 2017 by British couple Amy Moring and Jeff Webster, Hunter & Gather was created with a clear purpose: to help people support their health through real food products made without compromise.
The ranking comes amid growing consumer demand for clean ingredient products, minimally processed nutrition and products that prioritise ingredient transparency, helping fuel the brand’s sustained growth.
The award-winning brand is best known for its range of clean-ingredient condiments and supplements. Launching with a single avocado oil product, Hunter & Gather has expanded into a broad portfolio of wellness products, including their best-selling pure bovine collagen, top-rated electrolytes and their newly launched Chicken Bone Broth.
From humble beginnings at the founders’ kitchen table, Hunter & Gather has grown to a team of more than thirty employees, sold over 1.5 million products to over 350,000 households and is now stocked in major retailers such as Tesco and Waitrose.
Amy Moring, Co-Founder of Hunter & Gather, said: “When we started Hunter & Gather, we had a simple but ambitious mission: to challenge the status quo and make it easier for people to choose real food made with ingredients they can trust.
“From creating our first product at our kitchen table in North Stifford in Essex to being recognised in The Sunday Times 100 for a second consecutive year is a testament to the incredible support from our customers and our dedicated team.
“This recognition means a great deal to us, not because of the growth itself, but because of what that growth represents.
“We’re excited to continue building on this momentum as we invest in new products, grow our team and community, and make real food accessible, transparent and uncompromising.”
Jeff Webster, co-founder and CEO of Hunter & Gather, added: “The past year has been one of significant growth for Hunter & Gather, and recognition from The Sunday Times 100 for a second year running is an incredible milestone.
“From day one, our focus has been on ingredient transparency, nutritional integrity and creating products that we would proudly use in our own homes.
“While our business has grown significantly, our mission remains unchanged. Every product we launch and every decision we make continues to be guided by our commitment to helping people live healthier lives.”
“This recognition is a reflection of the hard work of our team and customers for choosing Hunter & Gather. We’re excited to enter our next phase of growth to help more people embrace ancestral and healthier lifestyles”
