British burger brand, Honest Burgers is set to open a brand-new restaurant in Cabot Circus, Bristol on 22nd November – one of two new sites in the Southwest. This opening is the second of 12 new openings for the brand, a milestone that will take Honest’s restaurant portfolio to 51 locations across the UK. The new Cabot Circus restaurant will join Honest’s existing Bristol city centre site, with another opening in Cribbs Causeway in the pipeline.
Tom Barton, co-founder of Honest Burgers, added: “When we started Honest back in Brixton, we wanted to do one thing really well: serve simple, quality British burgers and chips that people would love. We’re proud to be expanding within the Southwest and opening another restaurant in Bristol. We look forward to welcoming the community through the doors.”
Located in Cabot Circus shopping centre, this will be Honest Burgers’ first restaurant opening in a retail space. Customers can expect to see the brand’s British racing green, hand-written chalkboards and exposed brickwork, seating up to 60 covers. Honest will be celebrating their opening with a burger giveaway in early December, giving Bristol shoppers a taster of what Honest has to offer.
Honest Burgers prides itself on quality at every stage. The brand has its own butchery, making their burgers from scratch with chopped British beef (not minced) so they eat like a steak and retain more flavour. Every burger is served with Honest’s signature homemade rosemary-salted chips made with fresh West Sussex potatoes.
Menu highlights include the ‘OG’ Honest burger, first launched on the menu in Brixton in 2011 served with cheddar cheese, smoked bacon and Honest’s homemade 6-hour red onion relish. Alongside the range of classic beef burgers, customers will be able to enjoy smashed burgers, fried chicken, a homemade vegetarian fritter and Beyond meat burgers (vegan). Sides range from homemade onion rings, homemade bacon gravy and halloumi fries. In line with Honest Burgers’ commitment to supporting local communities, the Cabot Circus site will feature a selection of beers from a local Bristol brewery and will also launch its own local burger in collaboration with Tubby Tom’s, a Southwest artisanal sauce and seasoning supplier much-loved by Honest.
This expansion marks a new chapter in Honest Burgers’ accelerated growth phase with new openings also confirmed in Norwich, Leamington Spa, and additional sites in London. The growth follows the launch of the first Honest Smash + Grab site in Liverpool Street in late 2024 and the successful introduction of Honest Insiders in June 2025, the brand’s first digital rewards app with exclusive rewards for customers, which has been downloaded over 90,000 times since its launch.
Honest Burgers Unit SU71, Glass Walk, Cabot Circus, Broadmead, Bristol will be open from 11.30am daily.
