Manchester Arndale Popular cosmetics brand BPerfect and Manchester-founded sportswear retailer Castore, have become the latest growing retail brands to select Manchester Arndale for their first store in the city.

Castore will occupy a 1,072sq ft space after signing for a 10-year term. Meanwhile, BPerfect has signed a 5-year lease for a 2,000sq ft space.

Founded in Manchester in 2015, Castore is a leading figure in the high-performance sportswear industry. It has signed exclusive manufacturing deals with Red Bull Racing, McLaren and England Cricket and this latest store will be Castore’s first in Manchester. Customers will be able to shop from the brand’s wide range of sporting attire as well as its array of licensed merchandise.

BPerfect is an award-winning Northern Irish cosmetics brand which was founded in 2012. Having been featured on Dragon’s Den in 2017, where it secured two offers, the brand offers a variety of makeup, tanning and beauty products. BPerfect is stocked in more than 2700 stores across the UK, Ireland and worldwide. BPerfect’s Manchester outlet will be their first megastore in England, adding to a portfolio which already boasts Belfast, Dublin and Glasgow outlets.

This news follows the announcement that PURESOUL and Emma Sleep will be coming to Manchester Arndale. PURESOUL, a South Korean beauty and skincare company, will add to Manchester Arndale’s cosmetics offering whilst customers will be able to discover Emma Sleep’s Select range which is only available in physical stores.

Scott Linard, portfolio manager for M&G Real Estate, said: “We are delighted that Manchester Arndale continues to attract new exciting brands. Our wide catchment of visitors allows these brands to showcase their innovative identities to a diverse mix of shoppers who are always eager to sample companies which offer a different type of retail experience.”

Steve Gray, head of European retail asset management at Global Mutual, added: “Castore and BPerfect are two fast-growing brands so it is wonderful to welcome their first physical stores in Manchester. Attracting a diverse mix of new and established retailers allows us to appeal to a larger audience which helps us ensure footfall is high year-round.”

M&G Real Estate and Global Mutual act as joint asset managers of Manchester Arndale and New Cathedral Street while Metis Real Estate and Time Retail Partners are the centre’s retained letting agents, with Green & Partners retained lease advisory agents.
