Mei Mei Goods, inspired by the award-winning Borough Market restaurant Mei Mei, launches exclusively on Ocado.com, the world’s largest dedicated online supermarket, end April, 2026. Its grocery range of premium Asian sauces is now accessible to households across the UK for the first time through national retail.

Just five months since its inception, Mei Mei Goods has already captured cult attention for its chef-crafted sauces, made with natural ingredients and avocado oil, that simplify Asian cooking without compromising on flavour.

Co-founded by Michelin-starred chef Elizabeth Haigh and Renee St John, former head of retail at Google, the brand brings together a perfect pairing of culinary expertise and commercial experience to deliver restaurant-quality flavours to the home.

Mei Mei Goods,Priced between £3 and £5, Mei Mei Goods stays true to its mission — make bold, premium Asian flavours genuinely accessible to everyday cooks. The Three-Step Flavour System, developed by Chef Elizabeth Haigh, simplifies Asian cooking through three elements — 1. Base,  2. Heat, 3. Topper — so anyone can layer innovative flavours using common ingredients.

1: Build with a Base

  • Sweet Soy Sauce (210g) — a sticky, versatile Southeast Asian soy for marinades, dipping or drizzling, a family favourite

  • Spicy Soy Sauce (185g) — a savoury, dark soy for marinades, stir-fries, or noodles

2: Bring the Heat

  • House Chilli Sauce (165g)— an everyday heat to brighten eggs, rice, chicken and more

  • Chilli Padi Sauce (165g) —a Sriracha made with ”Padi” = “Bird’s Eye chilli”, for heat lovers only

3: Finish with a Topper

  • Sambal Manis (115g)— a sweet fiery chilli paste made with avocado oil, a Topper for fried rice, noodles or veg

  • Hot Honey (215g) — a sweet heat Topper, perfect drizzled over chicken, cheese or pizza

All products deliver bold, vibrant flavours without artificial preservatives, colours, or flavourings.

Charley Belinis, buying manager at Ocado Retail, says: “We’re delighted to be launching Mei Mei Goods on Ocado.com. Our customers are increasingly looking to experience the high quality and great taste of restaurant-standard meals from the comfort of their homes. Our partnership with Mei Mei Goods offers just that and we’re looking forward to hearing our customer’s feedback.”

Renee St John, CEO of Mei Mei Goods, adds: “This launch is a real milestone for us. Ocado gives us the platform to reach food lovers across the UK with something we genuinely believe the market has been missing — modern, chef-crafted Asian condiments made with natural ingredients and avocado oil that make bold flavour effortless at home”

Elizabeth Haigh, co-founder and Michelin-starred chef, adds: “At Mei Mei Goods, we’re all about bringing bold Asian flavours effortlessly into your home. From the sticky sweetness of our Soy Sauce to the fiery kick of Chilli Padi, each sauce is designed to transform everyday ingredients into vibrant, restaurant-quality dishes. Partnering with Ocado.com means more people can enjoy cooking that’s simple, fun, and packed with flavour.”

Mei Mei Joins the Ocado Roots Programme

Mei Mei Goods also joins Ocado Roots, the invite-only programme supporting challenger brands taking their first steps into national retail.
