A leading provider of IT Services that lists Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and Hobbycraft as clients has added pizza restaurant chain Papa Johns to its growing roster.

Nottingham-based Retail Assist will, in collaboration with Barron McCann – which has its headquarters in Derby – provide comprehensive IT Help Desk and Field Maintenance Support to Papa Johns 470 sites across the UK.

This will include first and second-line support, proactive monitoring of critical systems within stores and management of hardware and software issues.

Since partnering with Retail Assist, the average call response time has been just 26 seconds across 4,000 contacts.

Rob Beattie is vice president of international technology at Papa Johns. He said: “We chose Retail Assist and Barron McCann for their reputation of excellence and dedication to customer satisfaction.

“Their proactive approach and personalised support have already made a significant difference to our operations. We look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

Kevin Greathead, managing director of Retail Assist, added: “Our expertise in supporting different sectors, coupled with our commitment to high availability services, makes us the ideal partner for Papa Johns as they continue to expand and innovate in the competitive hospitality market.

“We are thrilled to welcome Papa Johns to our growing family of clients.”

Barron McCann, meanwhile, will provide responsive field maintenance support with a four-hour response capability for the most critical issues.

After a seamless transition and implementation of Barron McCann’s intelligent reporting function, Papa Johns now has visibility and insight into their IT asset stock levels, resulting in optimised resource allocation and improved operational efficiency.

Retail Assist joined the Barron McCann family of companies earlier this year, after it was acquired by Alan Watson; executive chairman and owner of the independent technology service provider.

This collaboration validates the benefits that can be gained from a quality driven, end-to-end value proposition, and an exciting insight into future ventures for the Barron McCann group.
