NespressoNespresso has opened its London flagship location in Covent Garden, offering a unique haven to touch, taste and explore the wonderful world of Nespresso coffee. Located at 34 Henrietta Street, spanning 1,345sq ft, overlooking Covent Garden’s iconic West Piazza, the boutique encapsulates the Nespresso brand values whilst celebrating the beautiful architecture and history of the old bank building in the thriving heart of London.

The new concept boutique offers several spaces to move through; a ‘Taste and Discover’ bar area offers customers the opportunity to explore their own unique coffee preferences with curated recipes, tasting masterclasses, and sampling of the latest innovations, including the new summer iced coffee collection. A dedicated personalisation area offers bespoke travel mug engravings and gift wrapping, creating unique and joyful experiences for customers and a lasting memory of their boutique visit.

For the boutique’s unique design, Nespresso worked with British Designer Vicky Charles, Founder of Charles & Co, to amplify the stunning historic interior while adding a modern twist. This includes feature British-made furniture; a custom U-shaped banquette by George Smith, and a four-meter-wide floral chandelier by Cox London echoing the organic beauty of the coffee plant and celebrating Covent Garden’s heritage as a flower market. Combined with large bright windows, high ceilings that replicate the original building and pink hues all create a memorable space for meaningful coffee exploration.

To further its mission on circularity, and as a certified B Corporation, Nespresso offers visitors a dedicated space in the boutique for coffee pod recycling and conversations with specialists about the sustainability and ethical sourcing behind each pod.

Anna Lundstrom, CEO of Nespresso UK&I, said: “Our flagship boutique in Covent Garden showcases Nespresso’s vision for the future of retail — a welcoming space in the heart of London’s vibrant cultural landscape. The boutique experience blends timeless elegance with modern innovation, offering coffee lovers the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Nespresso brand, enjoy unforgettable coffee experiences and discover more about their individual coffee tastes — all with the guidance of our passionate and knowledgeable team.”

Vicky Charles, founder of Charles & Co, said: “Our vision for the Covent Garden boutique was to celebrate the building’s architectural heritage while crafting a warm, welcoming space, and I’m so excited for everyone to finally experience it. The boutique aims to be an invitation to step into a space where every detail offers a new opportunity to discover and explore coffee, your way. From the soft textures of handcrafted seating to the gentle glow of ambient lighting, visitors can fully immerse themselves in an environment that feels both inspiring and comforting, making every moment inside truly special.”

To celebrate the anticipated boutique opening, customers will be able to taste and buy Nespresso’s new summer iced coffee collection, exclusively available at Covent Garden ahead of the collections official release on 13th May.

Nespresso’s Covent Garden boutique officially opened its doors on May 5th, and further details can be found here: www.nespresso.com/uk
