Nice launches ‘Icons’ range with the debut of ‘Going Places’: a pale rosé built for modern drinking

Modern wine company Nice has announced the launch of Going Places, a premium 9% ABV Southern French Rosé. Launching on Ocado (RRP: £12) and the Nice webshop in August 2026, Going Places is the flagship release from the brand’s new Icons range – a lineup designed to elevate everyday drinking moments while solving traditional wine friction points.

As consumer habits shift toward longer, slower-drinking occasions and lower-alcohol choices, Going Places delivers a full-flavour, pale, and dry Southern French profile with a naturally lower ABV. The result is a crisp, refreshing Rosé featuring notes of summer berries, peach, and subtle florals with a clean finish.

Redefining the wine shelf for modern consumers

Female-founded and B Corp Certified, Nice was built to liberate consumers from common wine “headaches” – from confusing varietal jargon to high-ABV side effects.

Younger generations of drinkers care less about traditional varietals or complex regional classifications, placing far more value on taste, brand personality, and occasion. Nice is leaning into this shift by taking a page out of the craft beer playbook – putting brand identity and mood front and center.

The name Going Places taps directly into the effortless, holiday energy intrinsic to rosé, while serving as a literal nod to a wine built to go anywhere with you. This subtle, occasion-led naming, paired with Going Places’ magnetic branding, slim flute bottle and exposed cork, branded with Nice’s mantra of ‘wine that fits the moment, not the mould’, connects the wine directly to a mood or moment rather than intimidating technical terms.

Nice are proud to be launching the product initially with Ocado, where retail sales value for the brand has risen 70% to in excess of £1m over the prior 52 weeks.

Lower doesn’t mean lesser.

To achieve a naturally lower-ABV (9%) profile without compromising on taste, Nice uses Gamay for a fruity finish alongside Floréal, a naturally lower-alcohol grape variety, making Going Places nice for weekends and weeknights.

“People still love great-tasting wine, but they’re drinking differently now, earlier starts, longer occasions, and a real desire for fewer regrets the next day,” says Lucy Busk, Co-founder of Nice.

“Younger consumers don’t want to decipher an intimidating label just to pick a bottle. Borrowing from the energy and accessibility of craft beer, Going Places puts mood, taste, and brand front and center. With Going Places, we set out to create an ‘all-day’ Rosé that gives drinkers everything they love about a pale, dry Southern French style, but at a lighter 9% ABV. It’s about stripping away the friction, whether that’s intimidating labels or high alcohol and delivering exceptional, no-compromise wine that fits effortlessly into modern life.”
