PayPoint partners with Roblox to expand digital gaming voucher offering

PayPointPayPoint has today announced a new partnership with leading immersive gaming and creation platform Roblox, to expand its digital gaming voucher service offering for retail partners.

Roblox is an immersive gaming and creation platform that offers people millions of ways to be together, inviting its community to explore, create and share endless unique experiences. The company’s vision is to reimagine the way people come together– in a world that’s safe, civil, and optimistic.

The partnerships will seeretailers across the PayPoint network now offering customers the option to purchase Roblox digital gift code vouchers from over 30,000 stores.

The partnership comes as PayPoint looks to expand its digital gaming voucher portfolio, which already includes Google Play, Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox as demand rises for digital vouchers. A trial launch of the partnership has seen nearly 10% of stores issuing Roblox vouchers.

The partnership enables retail partners to entice customers with a broader range of digital voucher services and boost cross-selling potential for other goods and services available in-store.

The digital vouchers also provide a secure purchasing platform for Roblox players, allowing them to top-up and credit their accounts or gift families and friends. Through the partnership, customers who buy Roblox digital vouchers via PayPoint retailers can receive up to 25% more Robux in comparison to purchases via mobile and consoles.

Customers can purchase Roblox digital vouchers in any amount between Any amount between £10 and £200. All Roblox digital vouchers also include a free virtual item to be granted upon redemption.

Antony Sappor, Retail Proposition and Partnerships Director, PayPoint commented: “We are delighted to continue the expansion of our gaming voucher portfolio for retailers, with customers now able to purchase discounted Robux safely and securely in-store, enhancing their overall gaming experience.

“With over 97 million daily active users on the platform, this also means that retailers now have access to a broad pool of potential customers, with increased sales potential.”
