Popeyes UK

Popeyes UK® (“Popeyes” or the “Company”), the award-winning chicken QSR brand with over 110 UK restaurants, has today opened the doors to its new flagship restaurant on Tottenham Court Road, further strengthening its London footprint.

The new site is the Company’s 14th site in London and follows the opening of its 100th restaurant in November at London Bridge Station. It is located at Unit 6, 6–17 Tottenham Court Road, just a short walk from the tube station and adjacent to Oxford Street – one of Europe’s busiest shopping streets.

Popeyes is set to create 112 new jobs for the local area through the opening, which marks the Company’s 10th new restaurant so far in 2026. The restaurant will offer dine in, take away and delivery options for customers to enjoy all of Popeyes’ bestselling items from its iconic Chicken Sandwich, Hot Wings, Tenders, and Signature Chicken Wraps as well as the new limited-time Honey BBQ range which launched last week. Inside, the restaurant will have capacity to seat up to 72 customers, and the site will also have self-service kiosks and collection points for a seamless dining experience.

The brand’s move to open more restaurants in London reflects the high demand amongst customers in the capital for its Shatter Crunchin’ chicken menu and its iconic Chicken Sandwiches, one of which is sold every eight seconds in the region.

Since entering the UK in 2021, Popeyes has grown to over 110 locations nationwide and employs approximately 3,500 people. Recently named the fastest-growing food & beverage chain in Europe in the FT1000, the Tottenham Court Road opening also comes as the Company prepares to open its first restaurant in the Republic of Ireland this spring.

Tom Crowley, CEO at Popeyes UK, commented: “After opening our 100th store in the capital last year, we couldn’t wait to add another central London location on the map. Tottenham Court Road is full of energy and vibrancy – the perfect spot for us to showcase a bit more of that Louisiana spirit we’re famous for.”
