Disney’s Wonder of Friendship: The ExperienceLast Friday night, Disney’s Wonder of Friendship: The Experience launched at 180 Strand in London, with a VIP party DJ’ed by Snoochie Shy, and enjoyed by celebrities including Max George, Nadine Coyle and Vanessa White.

Targeted at young adults, Wonder of Friendship: The Experience is a must-attend event that will transport fans into a new world of beloved classic Disney stories. Visitors will be invited to celebrate dynamic duos like Lilo & Stitch and inseparable pals like Mickey & Donald, while playfully exploring their own friendships.

Boasting 1,000sq m of experiences and installations across four themed rooms: Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King, Mickey & Friends, and Lilo & Stitch. Using Snapchat’s Augmented Reality technology, groups of friends can bring Disney characters and stories to life by scanning QR codes throughout. The experience is open at London’s 180 Strand between 12 – 21 May, with limited tickets available.

Nadine Coyle and Max George were making music together on the swings in The Lion King room. Other names in attendance at the event were Vanessa White, Harriet Rose, Max and Harvey.

Nigel Cook, VP, brand commercialization and retail, Disney Consumer Products, Games and Publishing, EMEA, said: “Throughout our one hundred years, Disney stories have shown the importance of friendship and appreciating the differences in others, so we couldn’t think of a better theme to celebrate our milestone anniversary. The experience has been over a year in the making, and we’re looking forward to opening the doors to Disney fans and their friends across Europe over the next few months.”

As part of the experience, guests also visited retail pop-ups from Creator Studio and Disney Home, and tried on items from shopDisney via Snapchat AR technology. Guests also took selfies in an area sponsored by FREENOW, the official mobility partner of the experience, featuring a 101 Dalmatians-inspired car.

Disney’s Wonder of Friendship: The Experience will be on at 180 The Strand from 12 to 21 May 2023 before moving on to various sites across Europe – including France and Germany. The final remaining tickets for London are priced at £17.50 per person and are available from See Tickets.

Fans can also shop current Disney Classics collections from brands including Pandora, where they can collect characters from their favourite stories; Dunelm, where Mickey Mouse comes to life in a range of homeware and furnishings; and Primark, whose Stitch collection is the perfect companion across apparel, stationary, accessories and beyond.
