Vodafone’s immersive Samsung Galaxy S26 ultra Underground experience

VodafoneVodafone has unveiled a full-scale, life like Underground carriage installation at its Westfield Stratford store designed to showcase key features of the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, available to buy now on Vodafone’s reliable, award-winning network*.

The experiential build, created in collaboration with Samsung and production partner Stylo, is live in the store window until 13th April. The installation recreates the look and feel of an underground train carriage, giving customers the chance to test the Galaxy S26 Ultra in a setting that mirrors how they might use their device on their daily commute.

Visitors are invited to take a seat inside the carriage and explore the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s capabilities through interactive prompts and real‑world scenarios. Highlights include:

  • Privacy Screen  – a world’s first on mobile – the Galaxy S26 Ultra leading USP is demonstrated in a realistic commuter setting, showing how the built-in privacy feature prevents others from viewing on‑screen content. Users have greater control over what’s visible to those around them, whilst making sure specific content, like notifications, are private. It’s all customisable.
  • Photo Assist – Visitors can try Samsung’s unique AI experience with Photo Assist, with guided examples such as adding flowers to a vase, changing a grey sky to sunshine, or adding an extra cupcake to a plate. The prompts inside the carriage walk visitors through each step, making the experience intuitive.

To enhance the experience, Samsung ambassadors offer one‑to‑one demonstrations and support to help customers navigate the features.

The activation also spotlights Vodafone’s customer offers, including Vodafone Xchange and Trade‑In, helping shoppers understand how they can upgrade to the Galaxy S26 Ultra with flexible plans and savings on Vodafone’s network.

Maria Koutsoudakis, chief brand officer, Vodafone UK, said: “We wanted to create something that stops people in their tracks and showcases the Galaxy S26 Ultra in a context everyone recognises. This installation brings the device’s features to life in a way that’s playful, memorable, and genuinely useful for customers deciding whether to upgrade, while also highlighting key reasons to buy from Vodafone including Vodafone Xchange and Trade-In.”

The retail installation will be supported across social media, on both Vodafone’s own channels, as well as influencer support from creator’s visiting the store and experiencing the journey for themselves.
