Hunter & GatherReal food revolutionary Hunter & Gather is bringing its four-ingredient 100% Avocado Oil Mayonnaise to Waitrose stores this autumn, introducing a new kind of mayonnaise to its shelves – one that’s full of real ingredients, full of creamy flavour and free from the usual compromises.

Hunter & Gather’s 100% Avocado Oil Mayonnaise is a bold reimagining of a household staple, made with just four simple ingredients and free from sugar, rapeseed and vegetable oils, and artificial chemicals.  Just real food and award-winning flavour.

With eight or more avocados per jar, this Great Taste Award winning mayo delivers a rich, velvety texture that’s perfect for spreading, dunking, dolloping, or dressing. This is mayonnaise that tastes great and is healthy too.

This latest listing for Hunter & Gather’s four-ingredient mayonnaise, which was the first product to be developed by the trailblazing ‘ancestrally inspired’ brand back in 2017, is evidence of its ongoing commitment to educating consumers about what constitutes real food.

Jeff Webster, co-founder of Hunter & Gather, said: “We are passionate about creating tasty, real food products with minimal ingredients, it’s what we are about as a business. So introducing our four-ingredient 100% avocado oil mayonnaise to Waitrose shoppers is a hugely significant step for us.

“UK shoppers are becoming increasingly label savvy and we know they want transparency and ingredients they can trust, as well as delicious food they can enjoy. Adding Waitrose to our list of retail partners means we are achieving momentum with our mission to educate consumers about what constitutes real food and why it’s important, not just to our health but to the planet too. As an award-winning challenger brand we’re proud to be leading that charge as demand grows.”

Added Ian Wilkinson, Commercial Director of Hunter & Gather: “Year on year growth of our total mayonnaise business in retail is up 95%, and our hero Avocado Oil Mayonnaise has experienced an incredible 107% growth in the last 12 months. These figures clearly demonstrate the movement of consumers towards more naturally nutritious food with minimal ingredients.”

Hunter & Gather 100% Avocado Oil Mayonnaise is available in Waitrose stores nationwide from 20th October, RRP £4.00, 175g jar.
