ShipStation and The Cheeky Panda

ShipStation, a leading intelligent shipping and logistics platform, is proud to spotlight its partnership with The Cheeky Panda, a B Corp-certified UK company revolutionising the paper industry with sustainable bamboo tissue products. This collaboration highlights how innovative businesses are leveraging technology to make a positive impact on the planet.

The Cheeky Panda was founded to tackle a major environmental issue: deforestation. By creating household tissue products from sustainably sourced bamboo, they offer a smart alternative to the tree-based paper that contributes to the loss of forests worldwide. Now one of the fastest-growing consumer goods companies in the UK, their mission is proving that sustainability and scale can go hand-in-hand.

“We started this business because we believe that everyday choices can lead to extraordinary change,” said Chris Forbes, co-founder of The Cheeky Panda. ” We all share a responsibility to protect our planet, and our mission is to provide an option that allows consumers to do just that, without compromising on quality.”

A great mission needs a strong operational foundation to succeed, especially when shipping around 500,000 direct-to-consumer parcels a year. The Cheeky Panda uses ShipStation to streamline its fulfilment process. This efficiency is key to sustainability, as it reduces waste, minimises shipping errors, and allows the company to scale its positive environmental impact.

“For our mission to truly succeed, our operations have to be seamless,” Forbes explained. “ShipStation gives us the tools and provides us with a multi-carrier strategy to manage our orders and deliveries with precision, helping us achieve a 98%+ delivery fulfillment rate. That efficiency is crucial because it allows us to dedicate our energy to what matters most, expanding our sustainable product line and furthering our environmental mission.”

“We are incredibly proud to partner with a forward-thinking company like The Cheeky Panda,” said Matthew Trattles, VP of Product at ShipStation. “Our goal is to provide the operational backbone that allows entrepreneurs to thrive. It’s especially rewarding when our technology helps a business focused on a better, more sustainable future to grow and succeed.”

The collaboration between ShipStation and The Cheeky Panda is a powerful example of how purpose-driven brands can leverage technology, highlighting that with the right tools, businesses can achieve both sustainable impact and powerful growth.
