Cheeky Panda rolls into Tesco with two roll SKUs including the UK’s first four-ply bamboo toilet roll

Cheeky PandaCheeky Panda, the award-winning UK brand for everyday essentials made from sustainable bamboo, is excited to announce a major new listing in Tesco from 27 October 2025. Two newly branded toilet tissues are hitting the shelves, including a Silky Soft Toilet Roll 3-ply and Quilted Soft Toilet Roll 4-ply.

Following its recent rebrand and Morrisons listing last month, Cheeky Panda’s Tesco debut brings more consumers an easy, high-quality swap to bamboo – combining comfort, performance and planet-friendly credentials. The 27th October also just happens to be International Panda Day, which celebrates and supports the conservation of giant pandas and other wild species!

The Silky Soft Toilet Roll 3-ply has 190 sheets per roll and RRP £6.95 with a launch promotion of £5.20 (going live on 12th November till 9th December). Whilst the Quilted Soft Toilet Roll 4-ply has 155 sheets per roll and is a premium 4-ply, RRP £7.25 with a launch offer of £5.50 (going live on 10th December till 6th January).

The Quilted Soft 4-ply SKU introduces the industry’s highest ply count, with no other major brand currently offering a 4-ply bamboo toilet tissue in the UK supermarket. The innovation delivers premium softness and strength, reinforcing its ambition to lead the category on both sustainability and performance.

Both products will feature prominently on Tesco’s dedicated ‘eco bay’, a full bay showcasing alternative fibre paper options. This initiative highlights Tesco’s commitment to championing alternative fibre and sustainable paper solutions, giving shoppers more choice for forest friendly products.

All Cheeky Panda tissues are made from 100% FSC-certified bamboo, a fast-growing renewable resource. They’re soft, strong, and offer great value, providing an excellent alternative to tree-based paper tissues. The Cheeky Panda’s tissues are free from harmful forever chemicals and are naturally gentle on skin. The brand continues to advocate for responsible forestry and reduced reliance on tree-based tissue, aligning with leading UK retailers to grow the sustainable paper category.

Founded in 2016 by husband-and-wife team Julie Chen and Chris Forbes, Cheeky Panda has grown from a spare-bedroom startup into a certified B Corp with products sold in 25 countries. With its characterful identity and striking colour palette, the brand’s new design aims to increase its iconicity and irresistibility as it continues to grow.

Cheeky Panda is now the number 4 branded tissue in the UK and the number 1 eco tissue brand on Ocado. Started by husband and wife team; Julie Chen and Chris Forbes, the now a team of 35 sell across the UK, Europe and US.

The Cheeky Panda Silky Soft 3-ply and Quilted Soft 4-ply will be available in large Tesco  stores and online from 27 October 2025.
