On Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May, King’s Road in Chelsea will come alive with discovery, community, and celebration as ten female-founded stores join forces to host an exciting in-store treasure hunt experience.

Stripe & Stare and their Buy Women Built brand friends invite shoppers to explore the iconic street while taking part in a treasure trail that highlights inspiring female-founded brands who are all members of the Buy Women Built consumer movement. Each participating store will offer an exclusive in-store promotion – making it the perfect opportunity to discover new favourites while supporting female entrepreneurship. Promotions will include complimentary matcha’s, free gifts and consultations and exclusive discounts.

The event is being organised by B Corp lingerie brand Stripe & Stare who opened their first ever store on the King’s Road in February. “This initiative is about more than just shopping – it’s about storytelling, connection, and championing the incredible women behind these businesses,” said Katie Lopes, co-founder, Stripe & Stare. “The King’s Road has always been a destination for innovation and style, and this event brings a fresh, collaborative energy to the area.”

Treasure hunt cards will be handed out to shoppers along the King’s Road on the 9th and 10th May (or available in the participating stores) with a map revealing each participating stores location and the offer available with each partner. Shoppers are encouraged to visit each store to take advantage of the exclusive offers and surprises available.

The King’s Road Treasure Hunt is a collaborative retail experience designed to spotlight female founders and encourage community engagement through discovery-led shopping.

Event details:

  • Location: King’s Road, Chelsea, London
  • Dates: Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May 2026
  • Participating Stores: 10 female-founded businesses (Stripe & Stare, RIXO, Astrid & Miyu, Trinny London, NRBY, Aspiga, Sarah Chapman, Wyse, Blink Brow Bar and Margaret Dabbs).
  • Cost: Free to participate

Whether you’re a local resident or visiting London, this treasure hunt offers a unique way to experience King’s Road.
