Award-winning Renais Gin has secured a UK-wide listing with Waitrose launching in April.  Following successful listings in the on and off-trade since its launch in May 2023, this marks the first supermarket listing for the brand which is set to hit 25 stores this month and is also online at Waitrose Cellar.  Renais is delighted that this new partnership sees the brand listed in two of Waitrose’s flagship stores, Canary Wharf and Oxford Circus, underpinning the brand’s premium appeal.

Renais Gin is made from the up-cycled skins of Chablis grapes from the family’s Domaine  Watson. The gin is sustainably distilled and married with all-natural native botanicals,  including juniper,Cubeb berries, Kimmeridgian stone, Acacia honey and lemon peel.

Alex Watson, CEO & Co-founder of Renais Gin, says: “We are thrilled that John Vine and the team at Waitrose have put their confidence in Renais. Waitrose is known for its  commitment to quality and with our shared passion for heritage and great taste we believe  Waitrose is the perfect fit for our luxury gin.”

John Vine, Spirits Buyer at Waitrose, says, “We’ve been watching Renais’ success since its launch two years ago and we’re delighted to introduce this fantastic gin to Waitrose customers, many of whom are discerning gin aficionados. Alex and Emma’s commitment  to sustainability, including their use of up-cycled grape skins in the production process, will  resonate with our customers, and we can’t wait for everyone to try it!”

Renais Gin has carved out a unique position within the premium gin market with a storied family heritage, a quality liquid which is inspired by French wine-making traditions and a focus on sustainability.
