Sustainable underwear brand, Step One, launches in John Lewis stores

Step One Men’s Trunks will be available to buy in select John Lewis stores across the UK from Monday, 17th February and online at johnlewis.com

Step OneToday, Step One, the innovative and sustainable underwear brand renowned for its comfort, breathability, and eco-friendly materials, is expanding into John Lewis stores across the UK. Following Step One’s rapid growth in popularity worldwide, this exciting new retail partnership will continue to solidify the brand’s position as reshaping the future of underwear.

The underwear brand, founded originally in Australia by entrepreneur Greg Taylor in 2017, is opening concessions in select John Lewis stores across the country, starting from 17th February 2025 following a successful period on the brand’s D2C. The wide range of high-quality products crafted from organic viscose made from bamboo, soft-touch fabrics, and sustainable practices, will also continue to be available to shop online at johnlewis.com.

Customers can experience Step One’s signature comfort and innovative designs in-store, with a variety of sizes, styles, and colours on offer. Known for its dedication to both style and function, Step One offers a range of underwear that is not only eco-friendly but also designed with performance in mind. Each piece is crafted with the latest fabric technology, ensuring maximum comfort and durability throughout the day.

Greg Taylor, founder & CEO of Step One said: “We’re incredibly excited to join forces with John Lewis, a British icon of the retail landscape, to bring our sustainable underwear to a wider audience. This collaboration marks a significant step forward for our brand, allowing us to connect with consumers who value quality, comfort, and sustainability.”

Step One has made a pledge towards a better environment and has an FSC® certification: a commitment to zero forestation, fair wage & work environments, plant, and animal species protection & supporting local communities in all production of its viscose made from bamboo underwear.

Step One kicked off the partnership launch at John Lewis’ flagship Oxford Street store with Step One Ambassador and former professional boxer, Tony Bellew and Sir Steve Redgrave.

The first drop of Step One Men’s Trunks will be available to buy in select John Lewis stores across the UK from mid-February and online at johnlewis.com.
