Vontier Corporation (NYSE: VNT), a leading global provider of critical technologies and solutions to connect, manage and scale the mobility ecosystem, today announced that Tesco will integrate technologies from Gilbarco Veeder-Root (GVR) and Invenco to create a scalable and efficient fuelling solution across the retailer’s petrol stations.
Building on the integration between Invenco’s outdoor payment applications and GVR’s fuelling and forecourt management systems, Tesco will gain deeper operational insights and a smoother customer experience.
“By leveraging the combined strengths of our market-leading businesses, Vontier is proud to deliver integrated solutions designed to best serve the unique needs of our customers,” said Andy Bennett, group president of convenience retail at Vontier. “Today’s announcement combines the retail expertise of Tesco with the best-in-fuelling from GVR and best-in-payment from Invenco to create a state-of-the-art solution.”
GVR’s DOMS PSS 5000 Forecourt Controller and Invenco’s connected outdoor payment terminals will enable fast and compliant transactions at the pump or at the kiosk. The controller provides specialised software that connects Tesco’s Point of Sale (POS) and software seamlessly, providing real-time data on all aspects of the forecourt.
The modular hardware and software architecture create a scalable solution for Tesco, helping the retailer enhance efficiency, improve customer experience and support future innovation. Together, Vontier’s integrated technologies are helping power a more connected and seamless mobility ecosystem.
