The Cotswold Company launches first premium interior design service

The Cotswold CompanyThe Cotswold Company, the digitally-led premium handcrafted furniture and homeware brand, has launched its first premium interior design consultation service across five showrooms in Stamford, Harpenden, Knutsford, Tunbridge Wells, and Stow-on-the-Wold.

The complimentary service will provide customers with a personalised consultation with a trained Interior Advisor. With two Advisors in each showroom, the service will offer expert guidance on product selection, room planning, fabric, finishes, and colour choices, enabling consumers to shop with greater insight-led confidence.

Designed for customers undertaking a room renovation, furnishing their home, or making an impact purchase, the service will help customers visualise whole-room concepts and bring together different products, design styles and colours into one cohesive style.

The launch builds on The Cotswold Company’s experience-led retail model and focus on providing customers with high-quality services. In recent years, the Group has launched its highly popular Upholstery Hubs and white-glove Cotswold Home Delivery service, as it looks to provide added value beyond its products.

The interior design consultation service will initially be trialled for three months across the five showrooms, with The Cotswold Company considering a wider roll-out across its retail estate following the initial launch.

The launch builds on a series of recent milestones for the Group. Last month, The Cotswold Company announced a partnership with Marks & Spencer to list a curated collection on www.marksandspencer.com. Alongside this, the Group recently unveiled a new collaboration with the National Trust, which has seen the launch of a National Trust-inspired range to bring heritage design into everyday homes.

Ralph Tucker, chief executive officer at the Cotswold Company, said: “We know that shopping for furniture can often become a stressful task. We want to change that by providing more expert advice in our stores and offering more reasons for consumers to come in-store and shop with greater confidence. This is another example of the steps we are taking to add more value before and after a purchase, as we continue delivering against our growth strategy.”
