The top features of bingo sites

Bingo has always been a popular game, with people playing for many generations. With the introduction of the internet, this only further enhanced the love and popularity for the game, as all of a sudden players were able to play from anywhere at any time allowing for much greater flexibility.

Instead of players having to go into their local bingo hall, they were able to play their favourite bingo games from home via different bingo sites. With all these new players all of a sudden playing online instead of in a bingo hall, this meant there was much more demand for a variety of games. Developers were forced to up their game to bring new ideas and extra incentives to their game to bring new players in ahead of other games.

In this article we’ll be taking a look into what these extra features are, what developers are bringing to their games and what to look out for when choosing a new game to start playing.

Free promotions and bonuses

Who doesn’t love something that’s free? To get new players in, websites such as Jackpotjoy will often offer free promotions and bonuses to new players to sign up. For example players could receive a cash bonus or free plays simply for signing up and making a deposit.

This is a great way to get more for your money as if you’re going to be playing anyway then you may as well get some free games along the way.

Different payment options

It’s important for platers to have choice, when it comes to payment options this is no different. For many players, if they are pushed into a decision, they’ll more than likely back out to assess their options. It’s important for developers to provide different options for players when it comes to payment such as making a deposit into your account.

Nearly all websites will offer the standard methods of payment such as debit and credit card, however some will offer other alternatives such as PayPal. Giving players this alternative option allows them to take full control over their security and safety over their personal information.

Mini games

Whilst the original bingo game is fun, some developers have included mini games in their bingo rooms. This means that at some point throughout the bingo game, you’ll be put into a mini game to try to win extra and additional prizes.

This is a great option as it takes the player away from the original game for a set period of time, giving them a break from the original game and allowing them to then return to the bingo fresh and with a clear mind.

Themed games

At the start of online bingo games, they were simply your standard bingo games where all they were plain and simple without any real colour or effects. In recent times, developers have created themed games around popular genres such as movies or games.

If you’re a big fan of movies and want to play a bingo game around this, you could find one that has certain aspects that have been altered to match that movie. For example, the colours and effects could include important aspects of the film.

There are virtually an endless number of themed games available so if you have a particular genre you enjoy, it may be worth having a look to see if there’s a bingo game around this.

High return to player

The main reason for playing bingo is to have fun, however if you also collect some prize money at the same time, then it’s a win win. Different games will have different chances at winning money, so it’s a good idea to look out for games that have higher RTPs.

Online bingo has come a long way in recent years, and with its popularity still growing to this day, there’s no signs of it slowing down anytime soon.

If you’re a fan of bingo but you’re unsure where to start, it may be worth taking some time to read through the above tips and what developers have included to help you decide what game to play.
