TRIP wants to help 20 million people with their mental wellbeing this summer through first-of-a-kind Calm partnership

TRIP, the UK’s fastest growing soft drinks brand is proud to announce the launch of its latest innovation: TRIP Wild Strawberry. The new flavour expands TRIP’s best-selling drinks portfolio and brings a delicious, wellness-driven twist to summer sipping.

Working with Calm, the world’s #1 mental wellness app, is a hugely exciting step in TRIP’s mission to support everyday mental wellbeing. This follows the brands’ USA partnership with Target, which launched with a celebrity campaign fronted by Ashley Graham. Each can unlocks three months of free Calm Premium. You can find it on shelves in Sainsbury’s now as part of their meal deal offering. Plus, from the 2nd June, you can find it on the shelves of Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, online at drink-trip.com, Tik Tok Shop and Amazon, and stocked in franchises including Young’s Pubs and LEON.

“The meal deal is a national ritual — we saw a chance to meet people where they already are, and offer them something genuinely helpful for their mental health,” says Olivia Ferdi, TRIP co-founder. “It’s a small change to your lunch break with a potentially massive impact on your mind.”

Summer is served –  and so is calm

Lightly sparkling with no-added sugar, this flavour tastes like summer in a can, balancing sweet wild strawberry with tangy grape and a touch of aromatic sage. It’s also infused with Magnesium, Chamomile, Lion’s Mane, and Lemon Balm, botanicals trending for their stress-reducing, mood-boosting benefits. TRIP leads the charge in showcasing the power of these natural ingredients, delivering complete calm without compromising on taste.

A solution for consumers

Health and wellness has never held greater value. More people than ever are rethinking their relationship with alcohol, a movement led by Gen Z. And even as traditional soft drink sales decline, functional and healthy beverages are growing steadily in volume.

A Calm premium membership costs £39.99, every can of TRIP offers 3 months for free, unlocked via a code on back of pack. Meaning, in those moments of everyday chaos you can support your mind with Calm’s meditations- free with every TRIP.

Why it matters now:

  • 7 in 10 young people report worsening mental health.
  • More than 7 million Brits buy a meal deal every day.
  • This partnership gives them an easy, low-cost path to better mental health — just by picking TRIP.

“We’re absolutely fizzing with excitement to be partnering with TRIP,” says Michael Acton Smith, Calm co-founder. “Calm was created to help people feel happier and healthier; TRIP is all about finding calm in everyday chaos, so this really is a perfect match. What’s more, mindful moments are valuable, no matter what inspires them, so we hope Calm’s life-changing content combined with TRIP’s transformative botanical blend brings bubbly balance to us all.”

TRIP Wild Strawberry will be found in fully recyclable cans in Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose, independents and online RRP £2 for 250ml, £2.30 for 330ml
