The UK’s leading experience gifting provider, Virgin Experience Days has today announced a new partnership with thortful, the UK’s number one marketplace for independent creators.

Together, the two brands aim to make gifting occasions more personalised and memorable, with thortful customers now able to add an experience from Virgin Experience Days to their order alongside their thortful greetings card.

The partnership will see 40 curated Virgin Experience Days products launch on the thortful website in time for Christmas, with experiences redeemable across the UK. Ranging in price from £11 – £171 thortful customers will be spoilt for choice with experiences to suit every personality and occasion, including adventure, flying and driving, to dining, tours and spa days.

It comes as Virgin Experience Days’ data show that consumers are splurging more on experiential gifts, with a notable 10% year-on-year rise in purchasing experiences priced above £300. The £50-100 bracket has also benefited from a healthy 3.2% growth year-on-year, with Virgin Experience Days’ total average order value up 4.4% compared to 2023.

Danni Rush, chief operating officer at Virgin Experience Days, said: “Virgin Experience Days and thortful both share a passion for making every gifting moment truly personal and unforgettable. This partnership feels like a natural extension of that mission, and we’re thrilled to be launching it just in time for the Christmas gifting season. We can’t wait to see how customers respond and make these gifts a special part of their celebrations.”
