Walker’s Shortbread, the family-owned Scottish brand with over 128 years of baking heritage, is bringing the indulgent taste of classic sticky toffee pudding to its shortbread with the launch of its new Sticky Toffee Shortbread Rounds.
The new product reimagines the classic British dessert by combining its rich flavours of dates and toffee with the brand’s signature all-butter shortbread.
Crafted in the Scottish Highlands, the sharing bags contain individually wrapped, bite-sized shortbread pieces. The indulgent flavours of dates and toffee are blended into Walker’s traditional shortbread base, which stays true to its time-honoured recipe, made using four ingredients: flour, butter, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
The sharing bag format is designed to appeal to global travel consumers, perfect for gifting, sharing with friends and family, or as a convenient on-the-go treat. The product capitalises on the enduring popularity of classic British flavours worldwide by uniting two beloved classics, Walker’s traditional shortbread and the timeless taste of sticky toffee pudding.
Priced at an RRP of £9.50 (250g), the Walker’s Shortbread Sticky Toffee Sharing Bags are currently available in Avolta and Lagardere stores across the UK.
