This month, Britain’s largest bakery brand, and No1 Gluten Free bakery brand, Warburtons, has launched two brand new NPDs – Gluten Free Soft Brown Pittas and Gluten Free Seeded Tiger Bloomer.
Warburtons continues to invest significantly in the gluten free category as gluten free consumers look for new and interesting bakery products to make mealtimes more exciting. The launch of these new products demonstrates the bakery’s commitment to continuous innovation, with the brand holding the top spot in the Free From bakery category with sales increasing by 17.1% year-on-year compared to market growth of 1.5%i
Gluten free soft brown pittas
Following the launch of Warburtons’ Gluten Free Soft White Pittas in 2024, the Gluten Free Soft Brown Pittas deliver on the same high quality, and have a soft, fluffy texture that consumers love. High in fibre these Soft Brown Pittas are fully gluten, wheat and milk free and are Cross Grain certified. They can be warmed in the toaster, or enjoyed cold, creating a convenient and versatile accompaniment that works as part of any meal. The product is perfect for filling, dipping or enjoyed as a snack, toasted on its own. Warburtons’ Gluten Free Soft Brown Pittas (4 pack) have an RRP of £3.00 and are now available at all major retailers.
Gluten free seeded Tiger Bloomer
The Gluten Free Seeded Tiger Bloomer is also gluten, wheat and milk free. This fluffy, unsliced loaf is the perfect base for your breakfast butty for breakfast or lunch,or simply enjoying or toasted to enjoy on its own as a snack. Warburtons’ Gluten Free Soft Seeded Tiger Bloomer has an RRP of £3.50 and is now available at all major retailers.
Both new products complement Warburtons’ broader gluten free range, including gluten free bloomer loaves, rolls, wraps, pittas and crumpets all with the same great taste as the rest of Warburtons’ products.
Both the Gluten Free Soft Brown Pittas and Seeded Tiger Bloomer will be baked in Warburtons’ dedicated gluten free bakery in Newburn by specialist bakers.
