When fashion meets rugby: Rodd & Gunn x Gilbert unveil ‘scrum-tious’ drop

Esteemed heritage brand Rodd & Gunn is once again partnering with iconic sports brand Gilbert to honour 200 years of rugby excellence, unveiling a new limited-edition collection.

The “United by Rugby” collection is a testament to the exceptional craftsmanship and unwavering excellence that both Rodd & Gunn and Gilbert are famed for. This limited edition range takes inspiration from the rich history and tradition of rugby, offering rugby enthusiasts and fashion aficionados a unique opportunity to showcase their shared love for the sport.

The scrum-tious drop includes a thoughtfully curated array of garments that capture the essence of rugby culture while infusing Rodd & Gunn’s distinctive style. From classic striped and front-quartered polos to Italian smart-fit chinos, bold bomber jackets and classic gilets, the Gilbert x Rodd & Gunn collaboration will seamlessly transition us into the Autumn months.

A standout item is the Ravenhill pullover hoodie, adorned with national flags representing historic rugby powerhouses from around the world. Every item in the collection mirrors the shared history and timeless allure embodied by both brands, making it a coveted addition for rugby enthusiasts and fashion connoisseurs alike.

In the UK, the “United by Rugby: 200 Years of Gilbert” collection will be accessible for purchase on the Rodd & Gunn website, their flagship store on Conduit Street and at select wholesalers. The second drop coincides with an exciting period of continuous expansion. In the UK & Ireland alone, the brand has established 40 wholesale accounts in just 3 seasons. Globally, recent achievements encompass partnerships with Arnott’s in Dublin, Takashimaya in Singapore, and Bloomingdales in the USA.
