Wild launches into 750 Tesco stores nationwide

Wild continues to normalise sustainable products with latest nationwide listing

WildToday, one of the UKs leading, sustainable personal care companies, Wild, has announced it will launch into 750 Tesco stores nationwide. Wild will be hitting the shelves on 9th March 2023, expanding its total retail footprint to 3,500 stores across the UK and 3,900 stores internationally.

A pioneer in natural personal care, Wild aims to shake-up daily routines while championing sustainability in the bathroom, with refillable deodorants that are built to last. Dedicated to protecting the planet while providing customers with performance products, Wild has created a range of revolutionary products to lift your mood and brighten your day.

Products available in Tesco stores will include Wild’s sleek, refillable cases, which will be available in three colours; Aqua, Pink and Purple. The cases will be complemented by three fan favourite refill scents; Fresh Cotton, Jasmine & Mandarin and Coconut & Vanilla.

This listing gives Wild and Tesco the ability to offer consumers easier access to sustainable, everyday products. Available across the UK including in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, consumers can purchase a Wild Starter Pack for £12.99 and Scent Refills for £5.99.

Charlie Bowes-Lyon, co-founder of Wild says: “Securing a listing with the largest retailer in the UK is a huge win for us. It shows that our product is resonating with a wider, more mainstream audience and that people are becoming more and more aware of the impact the products they use are having.

At Wild, our mission is to eliminate plastic-waste in the bathroom, which is why we created our refillable, natural deodorant in the first place. We firmly believe that every day, small changes, like switching from a traditional deodorant to Wild, can really have a big impact.

With this listing, we hope to help fans of our product access it easier, while introducing it to others.”

Wild’s reusable deodorant applicators are made from aluminium and are designed to last a lifetime so they can be refilled again and again with its bamboo pulp deodorant refills. All of Wild’s refills are made with natural ingredients such as coconut oil and shea butter, and are 100% eco-friendly, vegan and free from aluminium salts, parabens and phthalates. Each time you refill your case, you save 30 grams of plastic from going to landfill.

This launch adds to Wild’s already ample retail footprint which sees products available at other retailers including Sainsburys, Boots, Waitrose & Partners and Holland & Barrett; and ecommerce shops like Ocado, Just My Look and Bother and wearewild.com.

Jilly Mabbitt, health & beauty buying manager of Tesco, says: “We couldn’t be more thrilled to be stocking Wild in 750 of our stores nationwide. This listing allows eco-conscious consumers easier access to their everyday products, while introducing the products to others.

By stocking plastic-free, reusable products, we are helping to normalise them – something that is important to us. At Tesco, we are committed to future-proofing and protecting the planet as best we can; all while keeping items affordable and accessible.

Wild’s range of refillable deodorants are practical, environmentally conscious and incredibly effective. We are thrilled that Tesco shoppers will be able to get their hands on them.”

Wild is available to purchase from participating Tesco stores from the 9th of March.
